I am writing to express my interest in applying for the Master of Science in Electrical and
Power Engineering program at your esteemed institution. While my academic record may not
reflect it, I am a dedicated and passionate student who is deeply committed to pursuing a
career in power and electrical engineering.
I'm drawn to this program because of the range of electives and courses it offers in each of its
modules. The topics of Sustainable Transportation, Renewable Energy Technologies, and
Energy Storage have particularly piqued my interest. The abundance of courses given by the
MSEPE program, together with the series of in-depth, scientific seminars, have further
increased my urge to apply to this program.
I gained understanding of engineering science and technology, computer operating systems,
hardware, and software, design abilities, and the AutoCAD2D, Dialux, and ePLAN programs
during my job as an offshore electrical engineer and now I started new project on building
new 240 MW WIND power plant in Azerbaijan
I have bachelor’s degrees from ASOIU. To explain the reasons behind my low GPA, I faced
a number of personal and family challenges during my undergraduate studies. These
challenges required me to take on significant responsibilities outside of my academic
coursework, which often made it difficult to devote as much time and energy to my studies as
I would have liked. Despite these challenges, I did my best to balance my responsibilities and
complete my coursework to the best of my abilities.
Although my academic record may not be as strong as some of the other applicants, I am
confident that my passion, dedication, and work ethic will make me a valuable addition to
your program. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong interest in
electrical and power engineering, and I participated in several extracurricular activities to
further my understanding of the field. For example, Technical Education Center, 5th
Electrical Safety Group, among others, as well as Azerenerji refresher courses.
In summary, I understand that my academic record may not be as strong as some of the other
applicants, but I am a dedicated and passionate student who is committed to pursuing a career
in electrical and power engineering. I am confident that I can succeed in your program and
make a positive contribution to your academic community.
