goes out of bounds.

Penalties: Fouls result in free hits, penalty corners, or penalty strokes.

Penalty Corner: Awarded when a defender commits a foul inside their shooting circle. Attacking team
gets a shot from the 25-yard line with defenders behind the goal line.

Penalty Stroke: Awarded for a deliberate foul by a defender inside the shooting circle. Attacker takes a
one-on-one shot against the goalkeeper.

Stick Tackling: Players use their sticks to tackle opponents and gain possession.

Dribbling: Skillfully maneuvering the ball while running.


Passing: Accurate passing to teammates using the stick.

Shooting: Striking the ball towards the goal.

Defending: Blocking opponents’ shots and intercepting passes.

Goalkeeping: Defending the goal and stopping shots.
