Specification / Procedure to follow as given below.

1. Roof floor top surface to Grind / puffer to expose the mother slab top surface including
making grooves on Cracks , clean the surface without any dead materials on surface.
2. Fill with water by closing the outlet / spout mouth at least 6 inches above the surface
allow to remain for three days means 72 hours ( Check and fill more due to atmosphere
evaporation )
3. Within this three days if leakage at soffit of slab in fourth floor by fixing nipples with
drilling and to injection grouting by using PU chemicals which acts along with water on
surface ( Leak) it will form a foam get closed all weak path on slab and gets water
tightness.
4. Once all the leak points are grouted , remove the water stored on top allow to dry fully.
5. Crack groves to fill with crack fill material as well fill the heavy undulations with micro
concrete and allow to set for 24 hours.
6. Mark the datum level around and make a level pads to create the slope with cement
screed and finish the screen with minimum slope to allow the water flow towards spout
above the shaft and allow for minimum period 7days with curing.
7. Apply two coats of waterproof coating – first coat opposite direction of slope and second
coat to the direction of slope.
8. Points no 5 to 8 must be followed on parapet including bottom chamfer of slab wall joints
walls around to avoid any future dampness towards down.

1. Polyurethane ( PU) from Dr.Fixit / Fosroc / Cryso / Asian Paints / Nippon paints or anything
equivalent for injection grouting.
2. Crack fill materials also from same above companies or Equivalents
3. Micro concrete ready mix from Dr.Fixit / Fosroc/ cryso.
4. Water proof coating materials from above all companies or equivalents.
