As hydrotest is initially conducted internally from our end so the Blind flanges / caps of
the BWE venturies shall be in capped position. So Dimensional inspection internally
17 PMI test & Final dimension check to be added prior to hydrotest. shall be carried from our end initially to hydrotest but for your inspection it shall be
carried out after hydrotest only.

and codes / standards including reliability recommendations.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE WITH REFERENCE TO ABOVE QAP/ITP


1 FOR CARBON STEEL
A) For carbon steel max carbon content shall be 0.25% & max carbon equivalent shall be 0.43%
B) For IBR items, Sulphur & Phosphorous shall be max 0.05% Each
C) All forged carbon steel material (A105) shall be Normalized.
D) The cold drawn seamless carbon steel pipes shall be supplied in Normalised condition
2 FOR SS MATERIAL
A) All items shall be in solution annealed condition
B) IGC shall be conducted as ASTM A262 Prac "E" with acceptance criteria of no cracks as observed from 20X mangnification & microscopic structure to be observed from 250X magnification
3 FOR A182F91 MATERIAL
A) Tempering temperature for Grade 91 shall be Min 775 Degree C
B) For all welded items, RT shall be carried out Before & after PWHT (Wherever applicable)
C) Alloy steel pipes shall be normalised & tempered
D) All Alloy Steel material(For P91) shall be Normalized & Tempered. Tempering temperature shall be minimum 15 degree C higher than PWHT Temperature. (PWHT Temp for P91 = 760 °C)
4 Photo copies of the material shall be shared during Inward material (QA/QC activities)
5 HOLD points "H" mentioned in ITP are for A182F91 material Venturi
6 For tags with IBR requirement, All the activities shall be performed / Carried out in line with requirement of IBR regulations.

General Notes :
# All tests/test certificates shall be carried out / reviewed with respect to approved datasheets and specifications.
# All the test and measuring instruments shall be calibrated in a standard laboratory and the vendor shall produce valid calibration documents for the purposes of verification. The calibration shall be traceable to any of the approved national laboratories. Accuracy of test and measuring

instruments used by the vendor shall be at least two times better than the accuracy of the instrument being tested.

# All raw material (i.e. forgings, piezometric ring pipes & fittings) as well as Welding consumable shall be procured with maximum simulated heat treatment cycles anticipated in the fabrication/manufacturing plus one additional cycle for any repair.
# PWHT shall be mandatory for all Gr. 91 items / equipment irrespective of the thickness and supplier Engineer witness reports shall be submitted for inspector review.
2 # All NDE shall be carried out after 48 hours of welding/PWHT and all NDE results shall be evaluated and accepted by NDE Level‐II certified as per SNT‐TC‐1A inspector.
# Upon receipt of welding consumable at Vendor/Sub‐vendor works, batch wise testing to be carried out as per relevant codes / standards and shall meet applicable specification requirements, before utilizing the consumables for fabrication.
