A goat and a farmer were neighbours. The farmer had a barn filled with yams. The goat lived by
feeding on corn. One day, the goat went out to visit a friend and on it’s way back, it went near
the farmer’s barn. It was very surprised to see big yams. It went nearer and found them smelling
nicely.

The goat broke into the barn and ate some yams. They were very delicious. The farmer came
into the barn and caught the goat. He wanted the goat to pay, but the goat had no money. The
farmer then took the goat home and it became the farmer’s slave.
