DESCRIPTION

The ECM monitors the microcomputer for normal operation by calculating and comparing the injection volume command values
from 2 systems.
It also monitors the injector operation circuit for malfunctions by back-calculating the actual injection volume from the injection
duration returned by the injector operation circuit for each cylinder and comparing it with the injection volume command value.

MONITOR DESCRIPTION

· The ECM calculates and compares the injection volume command value from 2 systems, and stores P060694 if the
accelerator pedal recognition value, minimum engine torque or target injection volume is higher than the original target.
· The ECU back calculates the actual injection volume from the injection duration returned by the injector operation circuit
for each cylinder. When power continues to be supplied to the injector even if there is no injection volume command, the
injection operation status does not match the target injection volume, or the injector power duration deviates from the
target injection volume, P02EE00, P02EF00, P02F000 or P02F100 is stored.
· P062D00 is stored if a malfunction is detected in the fail-safe function (that stops injection) during a fuel injection control
malfunction.

Hybrid System>1GD-FTV (ENGINE CONTROL)>ECD SYSTEM (w/ DPF [Production date from 2021/08])>INITIALIZATION).

HINT:
Read freeze frame data using the GTS. Freeze frame data records the engine condition when malfunctions are detected. When
troubleshooting, freeze frame data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or
not, and other data from the time the malfunction occurred.

1.CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P02EE00, P02EF00, P02F000, P02F100, P060694
AND/OR P062D00)

a. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

b. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the GTS on.

c. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and Transmission / Trouble Codes.
Powertrain > Engine and Transmission > Trouble Codes

d. Turn the engine switch off for 30 seconds or more.

e. Start the engine and wait for 10 seconds or more.

f. Turn the engine switch off for 30 seconds or more.

g. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the GTS on.

h. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and Transmission / Trouble Codes.
Powertrain > Engine and Transmission > Trouble Codes

Execute

i. If no pending DTC is output, the repair has been successfully completed.
