ARE YOU THINKING LIKE RICH PEOPLE OR LIKE TYPICAL PEOPLE?

READ THIS ARTICLE TO FIND

OUT

Being rich is not about having lots of money but more about having a certain mentality towards
money. That’s why you read of people who have won millions in lottery money but end up having
nothing a few months down the line.

Or people being heavily compensated by the government (in millions) but end up worse off than
they were before being given the money.

Studies and research have shown that rich people have a totally different mindset when compared
to typical guys.

Here’s a look at 5 different ways that the rich people think as compared to typical people.

1. Typical people believe so much in formal education while the rich tend to acquire specific
knowledge.

It’s like typical people have a predetermined mindset when it comes to education. Complete your
secondary education, go to college/university, get your masters degree and get a good job. That’s
the mindset of an average guy. Even if an opportunity arises when the average guy is in college, he
won’t even notice it because his mind is so focused on completing his studies that he is blinded to
arising opportunities.

The rich guys on the other hand believe in acquiring specific knowledge. Knowledge that will help
them in their future endeavors. Steve Job’s dropped out of school and took ‘abnormal’ courses
like calligraphy that proved to be very useful when designing the first Macintosh computer.

2. Typical people hope for wealth while the rich people act on it.

Too much hope is not good for anyone. Typical people will always sit back and hope that they will
one day win the lottery, or get a hefty salary increase or the government will do something for
them.

But riches don’t come that way.

And rich people know this because they are doers and not miserable hopefuls. They start
businesses, they invest their monies in ventures that pay off etc. They dream about something and
take action.
3. Typical people earn money doing things they don’t like while rich people earn money doing
things they are passionate about.

And that’s the bitter truth. Typical guys will do jobs that they don’t like, come end month they get
their paycheck, splash a bigger percentage on rent and a few luxuries then go back to their old
boring jobs awaiting the next paycheck. Since they aren’t passionate about their jobs they are
likely to stick in the same position for long.

Rich people on the other hand do what they are passionate about. They may start out with jobs
that they aren’t passionate about but they eventually follow their passion and they get better and
better in what they are doing.

4. Typical people focus on savings while rich people focus on earnings.

I know you may think that because you are constantly saving money and you happen to have
millions lying in some bank account somewhere you are rich. But that is far from the truth. Unless
you are saving for something like a house or future investments, you might be over-saving!

And that’s what typical guys constantly do. Save, save and save more.

Rich people don’t like seeing their money lying around and doing nothing for them. Rich people
will put their money in stocks, profitable businesses, property etc. Places that will ensure a
constant stream of earnings.

5. Typical people set low expectations while rich people are constantly up to the challenge.

A typical person will always set low expectations so as not to be disappointed. Nothing risky. Rich
people on the other hand don’t believe in the calm serenity of being secure and comfortable. They
are always up to the challenge.

When there’s an IPO of a reputable company, they will buy the stocks knowing that they will
eventually get more in returns than what they invested in. When there’s a business opportunity
that looks promising they will venture into it.

Whereas the typical guys have a “let’s wait and see” attitude, the rich take calculated risks.
