A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL TREASURER OF AMULUNG

TO COLLECT BARANGAY BUSINESS CLEARANCE FEE AND EVENTUALLY ISSUE
TEMPORARY BARANGAY BUSINESS CLEARANCE FOR APPLICATION OF BUSINESS
PERMIT ON BUSINESS LOCATED WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION SUBJECT TO THE
REMITANCE OF THE SAID FEE TO THE BARANGAY.
WHEREAS, there is a need to streamline/simplify the process of business registration in the
municipality to provide more efficient and effective revenue collection and to promote a friendlier
atmosphere for taxpayer and investors
WHEREAS, when regulations simple and transparent, entrepreneurs need to suffer from red tape act
and time-consuming transactions.
WHEREAS, the ease of Doing Business Act of 2018 of Republic Act 11032, otherwise known as
“An Act Promoting Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services was
assigned into law seeks to make the process of putting up and running a business in the Philippines
and more efficient.
WHEREAS, Section 11 of RA 11032 provides that “Barangay Clearances and permits related to
doing business shall be applied and issues and collected at the Municipality level in accordance with
the prescribed processing time of said Act. Provided that the share in the collection shall be remitted
to the respective barangays, and
WHEREAS, Barangays in the Municipality of Amulung, enacted barangay resolution to authorize the
Municipal Treasurer to issue barangay clearance and collect corresponding barangay clearance fee in
the application for any business related transactions, subject to the remittance of the aforesaid fess to
the barangay and conditions hereunder.
NOW THERFORE, on joint motion all the members present.
BE IT RFESOLVE, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVE AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL TREASURER
OF AMULUNG TO COLLECT BARANGAY BUSUNESS CLEARANCE FEE AND
EVENTUALLY ISSUE TEMPORARY BARANGAY BUSINESS CLEARANCE FOR
APPLICATION OF BUSINESS PERMIT ON BUSINESS LOCATED WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION
SUBJECT TO THE REMITANCE OF THE AFOFESAID FEE TO THE BARANGAY.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY, this 12th day of February 2024 at Session hall, Barangay
Jurisdiccion, Amulung, Cagayan
