A. Preliminary Activities

Class, please stand up. Okay, Ma’am.

Before anything else, let us start our day

with a prayer. May I call boy class
number three to lead us to the prayer. Heavenly Father, as we
come together in this
moment, we express
gratitude for the blessing of
knowledge and the chance
to grow. Grant us your
wisdom as we begin this
fresh journey of learning.
CHRIST- CENTEREDNESS EXCELLENCE MISSIONARY

Illuminate our minds for

comprehension, open our
hearts to receive, and
empower our actions with
the wisdom we acquire.
Guide us to honor differing
perspectives with grace and
to embrace listening with
compassion. May this lesson
not only expand our intellect
but also ignite within us a
desire for personal growth.
We offer this prayer in your
name. Amen.
Good morning, Grade 10 Section One!

Good morning, Ma’am!

Please be seated.

Okay, Ma’am.
Let me check your attendance.

(checking of attendance)
It is nice that all of you are present!

How are you?

I am fine. Thank you,
Ma’am!
Good to hear! Are you ready with the
continuation of our topic yesterday?
Yes, Ma’am!
So, class, before we formally start, I
would like to set some classroom rules
using the last three letters of my name
"LYN.”

For letter L, you should “Listen

attentively.” This means giving your full
attention to whoever is speaking, whether
it is the teacher or one of your classmates.
It is important to listen carefully so that
you can understand the information being
shared and contribute effectively to
discussions.

For letter Y, you should “Yield to others'

CHRIST- CENTEREDNESS EXCELLENCE MISSIONARY

viewpoints. This rule emphasizes the

importance of respecting and valuing the
perspectives of your classmates. It is
natural for people to have different
opinions and experiences, and by being
open to hearing and considering these
viewpoints, you can gain a broader
understanding of topics and learn from
each other. Even if you disagree with
someone, it is essential to listen
respectfully and engage in constructive
dialogue.

For letter N, you should “Navigate

challenges with respect.” In any learning
environment, there may be obstacles or
disagreements that arise. This rule
encourages approaching these challenges
with maturity, patience, and kindness.
Instead of resorting to conflict or
confrontation, students are encouraged to
find solutions and work through
difficulties together in a respectful
manner. By maintaining respect for each
other, even during challenging times, the
classroom can remain a positive and
supportive space for everyone. Are we Yes, Ma’am.

Noted, Ma’am!

B. Motivation
Last week, you learned technical terms.
Again, what do we mean when we say Technical Terms are

Ma’am.

Very Good! Now, to recall with the

different technical terms that we have
discussed yesterday, let us continue our Yes, Ma’am!
game called “PicToAdd.”

Instruction: The “PicToAdd” game is an

icebreaker that includes pictures. To
answer, students will guess the picture.
Each picture is connected to the previous
topic. The classroom will be divided into

three groups. Each group will be given a

time depending on the level of the picture
and write the answer on the given
whiteboard. When the teacher says the None, Ma’am

C. Activity

To continue with our discussion, I have

organized an activity called “Think-Pair- (students raised their hands)
Draw.” Could those who are familiar with
this challenge please raise their hands?
Amazing, so all of you!

Instruction: Divide the class into three

groups. The teacher will read questions.
Each group is tasked with thinking
collaboratively and writing their answers
on the whiteboard. Instead of simply
writing A-B-C, the teacher will give a
code and magic word to the students.

This will check if you really scan the QR

Okay, with that let us proceed with our

IV. AGREEMENT/ASSIGNMENT

Read about other technical terms used in research such as bibliography, concept, data,
demographic variables, encyclopedia, and final outline. In your notebook, write all your key
takeaways based on what you have read. This will help you prepare for the next lesson.
