Objective(s) of the activities: Lower Intake Site Visit (Package 1)

Contents:

1. During the third week of my internship, Ihad an opportunity to visit the project
site with the site engineer.

2. The site visit provided me with a firsthand experience of the lower intake site,
where Iobserved various components of the project, such as the Main Access
Tunnel (MAT), Tail Race Tunnel (TRT), Power House Cavern, Transformer Cavern,
Pressure Shaft, Bus Ducts, Draft Tube etc...

3. The week started with the site engineer taking me to the Lower Intake site,
where Icould witness the progress of the Lower Intake Structure. This on-site
exposure was invaluable as it allowed me to see the project's scale and
understand how different components come together to form the entire
structure.
