Unit 1

Explain, in your own words, how Kåñëa is not conditioned by material nature, concerning
Bhagavad-gétä 2.11-12 & 4.5-6, verses and purports.

Lord Krishna is not conditioned by material nature and that is due to him being the supreme
personality of the godhead. Lord Krishna had created all of the living and nonliving entities, but
he is not affected by any of the entities that human or other creatures are affected by and that is
due to him being Lord Krishna the particular reason for this circumstance he made his world, he
can also make him immune to all sufferable thing. He can not be affected by any sufferable
thing but he can be loved by anyone. He can’t be 'hurt' or 'die' by anything, he is immune to
anything and everything. In Bhagavad Gita, on 2.12 it says “Kṛṣṇa clearly says herein that in the
future also the individuality of the Lord and others, as it is confirmed in the Upaniṣads, will
continue eternally. This statement of Kṛṣṇa’s is a particular reason for this circumstance Kṛṣṇa
cannot be subject to illusion. If individuality were not a fact, then Kṛṣṇa would not have stressed
it so much – even for the future.” The statement explains that Krishna can’t be subjected to
material nature and thereby he isn’t materialistic and he wouldn't be materialistic. All of his
stories are Vedic literature, and he is not materialistic the reason that is if you listen to Krishna
then you would fall into the trap of Maya and listen to what Maya says because Maya is
materialistic but Krishna isn't materialistic. When you have the desire to get more money for
non-Krishna things and useless things then that is Maya and it traps everyone it makes you do
non-devotional things like make you consume animal, alcohol and do unnecessary actions,
instead of devoting time to Krishna, eating Krishna Prasad, chanting the hare Krishna
maha-mantra, helping other devotees. In Bhagavad Gita on 4.6, it says "The Lord has spoken
about the peculiarity of His birth: although He may appear like an ordinary person, He
remembers everything of His many, many past “births,” whereas a common man cannot
remember what he has done even a few hours before. If someone is asked what he did exactly
at the same time one day earlier, it would be very difficult for a common man to answer
immediately. He would surely have to dredge his memory to recall what he was doing exactly at
the same time one day before. And yet, men often dare claim to be God or Kṛṣṇa. One should
not be misled by such meaningless claims. Then again, the Lord explains His prakṛti or His
form. Prakṛti means “nature,” as well as svarūpa, or “one’s form.” This explains that Krishna
doesn't take "birth" he appears, he looks like a normal human but he is indeed not a human. To
sum up, everything that has been started so far
Krishna is not conditioned by material nature because he doesn't have a soul like us, he doesn't
fall in Maya like a human, he does seem 'human' but he is a god, he is the transcendental body
of knowledge and humbleness.
Explain, in your own words, who is responsible for the suffering of the conditioned living entities
with reference to Sanskrit verses, analogies, and purports, from Bhagavad-gétä 4.14; 5.14-15.

The soul is responsible for the suffering of the conditioned living entities the particular reason for
this circumstance the soul didn’t choose to be a devotee of Krishna or couldn’t be a devotee of
Krishna. That’s why Krishna has given many chances to the soul so they can become a devotee
in a form that has conquered the plants of the living state in addition to has become prominent
to that plane. Krishna is everywhere in addition to he is where you are in addition too but in
order to observe him, you have to be very pure in addition do that you have to be a devotee of
Krishna by chanting, reading Krishna’s book, eating Krishna prashadam. If it was to be done,
then you would get a change in sometimes in you’re next birth to become Krishna conscious in
addition to speed Krishna’s word. In Bhagavad-gita sloka 5.14 it says “ It is ignorance acquired
from time immemorial that is the cause of bodily suffering in addition to distress. As soon as the
living entity becomes aloof from the activities of the body, he becomes free from the reactions
as well. As long as he is in the city of the body, he appears to be the master of it, but actually,
he is neither its proprietor nor controller of its actions in addition to reactions. He is simply in the
midst of the material ocean, struggling for existence. The waves of the ocean are tossing him, in
addition, he has no control over them. His best solution is to get out of the water by
transcendental Kṛṣṇa consciousness. That alone will save him from all turmoil.” This quote
elaborate that living creature is ignorant in addition they are ignorant due to the reason that they
have experienced it during the birth and have accepted that they will listen to Krishna offering
but they do not and do with over non-devotees do and keep doing it until there body becomes
unlivable and they "die" and get in the form of a new body but this time they wouldn't be humans
the particular reason for this circumstance they were giving this chance to be a devotee but they
refused and now they will become some other creature, and keep leaving there body many
more time until they are giving a chance again to become Krishna conscious and realize how
much time they have spent doing this the particular reason for this circumstance they didn't want
to become Krishna conscious. To sum up, everything that has been started so far the soul is
responsible for the suffering of the conditioned living entities and we still are not very learned
the particular reason for this circumstance the body does not matter, and with the repeated
cycle of birth and death, the body doesn’t matter only the soul does, but the one who is learned
has no need of lamentation, and Krishna doesn’t need to do it, it is done automatically, so it
does need to be interfered with.

Unit 2

Explain, in your own words, the proper understanding of demigod worship with reference to
appropriate verses, purport, and analogies from Bhagavad-gétä 3.10-16 and 7.20-23, 9.20-25

The proper way of understanding a demigod is to understand Krishna, the particular reason for
this circumstance is that demigods are a ‘lower’ incarnation of Krishna which makes them
demigod. Understanding Krishna is merely impossible the particular reason for this
circumstance you would have to have all the knowledge in the universe, which is impossible it
would be utterly insane to think that it is possible to know everything in the universe. Although
you could learn all the stories of Krishna and know every sloka it would be unthinkable to think
that knowing everything is possible. That's why demigods are there, they each can do one thing
and all of the demigods can make one god, which is Krishna. Each demigod will and can only
do one thing for example lord shiva is the destroyer, he can only create destruction but he can't
fix anything he destroys, and goddess kali is the goddess of death, she can serve 'death' to
anyone that deserves it. she can't give back life to anyone but she can take their material body
away from them. There are many more demigods about thirty three million of them that can do
one thing. Therefore, if you worship Krishna you can get all the benefits from one person
instead of having to rely on one demigod for that certain thing. In Bhagavad Gita 7.21, it says
"God has given independence to everyone; therefore, if a person desires to have material
enjoyment and wants very sincerely to have such facilities from the material demigods, the
Supreme Lord, as Supersoul in everyone’s heart, understands and gives facilities to such
persons. As the supreme father of all living entities, He does not interfere with their
independence but gives all facilities so that they can fulfill their material desires. Both the living
entity and the demigods are subordinate to the will of the Supreme Personality of Godhead;
therefore the living entity cannot worship the demigod by his own desire, nor can the demigod
bestow any benediction without the supreme will. As it is said, not a blade of grass moves
without the will of the Supreme Personality of Godhead." This text explains that there is no need
to worship a demigod the particular reason for this circumstance God is greater and isn't bound
by any rules. He is god, he guides us to him so we can worship in 'peace'. To sum up,
everything that has been started so far Devotion to Lord Krishna is different from devotion to
demigod the particular reason for this circumstance Krishna is god and there are no gods, they
are just Krishna purest servants, for example serving the demigod will get one thing but serving
Krishna will give you all the thing u get from demigod for devotion to Lord Krishna. Therefore
instead of worship the demigod, you should worship Krishna, and also Krishna is much more
loving than the demigods therefore worship Krishna would be a better choice and the demigod
is Krishna but certain forms and they only have certain powers.

Present, in your own words, how kåñëa-bhakti can be easily performed with reference to 9.26
verse and purport.

Krishna bhakti can be very easily performed by reading Krishna books, chanting hare Krishna,
Eating Krishna prashadam, and performing devotion activities. It isn't very hard to do all of those
things, especially for the exact purpose of eating Krishna prashadam you just have to eat 'food'
that's been offered to Krishna or chanting the hare Krishna you just have to say "hare Krishna
hare Krishna Krishna Krishna hare hare hare Rama hare Rama Rama Rama hare hare" 108
times to do one round and repeat that 16 times, then you will have done 16 which is the
minimum. It is very easy to do all of those things, but there is one thing that is stopping us from
doing that and the 'thing' is Maya, it prevents us from doing devoting things and refocuses over
the mind to material things. If you have a strong will then no amount of Maya can stop you from
only thinking of Krishna it is not impossible but it is very hard to only think of Krishna. Most
people can only think of Krishna for the exact purpose of a few hours and think of other things
the rest of the hours in their lives but Krishna helps focus on Krishna himself. In Bhagavad Gita
text 9.26, it says "No one, therefore, can be barred from Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the particular
reason for the exact purpose of this circumstance it is so easy and universal. Who is such a fool
that he does not want to be Kṛṣṇa conscious by this simple method and thus attain the highest
perfectional life of eternity, bliss, and knowledge? Kṛṣṇa wants only loving service and nothing
more. Kṛṣṇa accepts even a little flower from His pure devotee. He does not want any kind of
offering from a non-devotee. He is not in need of anything from anyone, the particular reason for
the exact purpose of this circumstance He is self-sufficient, and yet He accepts the offering of
His devotee in an exchange of love and affection.” This text explains that Krishna will take
anything for the exact purpose of offering even a flower, but he will not take any offer from a non
devotee the particular reason for the exact purpose of this circumstance is that the non devotee
will be offering Krishna something that is prohibited from being eaten. Unless it is something
that is not prohibited from being eaten, he will take that offer and bless you. Krishna is very kind,
he doesn't care if you offer will a leaf, he will take that offer but he will not take anything that is
prohibited. To sum up, everything that has been started so far shows how easily Krishna bhakti
can be performed the only thing Krishna wants is loving devotion and that is it, offer him most
things and he will gladly accept it. It doesn’t matter who or what you are, he will accept even the
poorest of the poor, but he does not accept meat, fish, and eggs. If it was to offer he will not
accept and, your level of loving devotion that you were offering from before is not expected as
much.

Unit 3

Explain, in your own words, how different religious practices can be analyzed, according to the
modes of material nature, with reference to Bhagavad-gétä Chapter 17, 1-3 verses & purports.

According to the modes of nature, the difference in religious practices can be analyzed by
seeing their religious practices and making note of them. When a person encounters another
person that is Krishna conscious and is told the benefits of joining the hare Krishna movement
and still refuses to join in the mood of ignorance the worst mood of nature. When a non devotee
encounters a Krishna devotee and listens to him about joining the hare Krishna movement, and
if you agree but decide to only follow the basics of the hare Krishna moment then you are in the
mode of passion, that means you are a good devotee and devote time to Krishna. When a non
devotee encounters a Krishna devotee and listens to him about joining the hare Krishna
movement, and you solely devote all your time to Krishna and preach about him, you are
experiencing the mode of goodness the best mood of nature. In Bhagavad Gita text 17.1, it says
" one who does not follow the principles laid down in the scriptures is called an asura, demon,
and one who follows the scriptural injunctions faithfully is called a deva, or demigod. Now, if
one, with faith, follows some rules which are not mentioned in the scriptural injunctions, what is
his position? This doubt of Arjuna’s is to be cleared by Kṛṣṇa. Are those who create some sort of
God by selecting a human being and placing their faith in him worshiping in goodness, passion,
or ignorance? Do such persons attain the perfectional stage of life." This actively demonstrates
that a person who doesn't follow the laid scripture is a demon and is in the mode of ignorance,
although it is unknown when you have faith in the Vedic literature and decide to follow some of
the rules in the scripture. In Bhagavad Gita 17.2 it says "The Supreme Personality of Godhead
said: According to the modes of nature acquired by the embodied soul, one’s faith can be of
three kinds – in goodness, in passion or in ignorance. Now hear about this. Those who know the
rules and regulations of the scriptures but out of laziness or indolence give up following these
rules and regulations are governed by the modes of material nature. According to their previous
activities in the mode of goodness, passion or ignorance, they acquire a nature which is of a
specific quality." This actively demonstrates that you can have all the modes of nature at once.
To sum up, everything that has been started so far that it is religion can be also specified with
the modes of nature, and an embedded soul can be in the mode of goodness, passion, and
ignorance at the same time. So one may shift his role to a higher nature mode. In the
relationship with a bona fide spiritual leader, one needs to consider everything cautiously, with
wisdom. Those scriptures. Gradually, from ignorance to goodness, or from passion to
goodness, one will change his position.

the importance of developing the mode of goodness in the practice of Kåñëa

Consciousness Chapters 14 and 17

The importance of developing the mode of goodness in the practice of Krishna is very important
because developing a model of goodness in the practice of Krishna consciousness will make for
an undetachable relationship between Krishna you the devotee and it will attract people to join
in, in hopes of them also having an undetachable relationship to Krishna. It would have a great
effect on every devotee in the Krishna consciousness community and the hare Krishna
movement would gain many more new devotees. It would be what Prabhupada all ever wanted,
Krishna would show even more mercy upon the world. In Bhagavad Gita text 14.6, it says " O
sinless one, the mode of goodness, being purer than the others, is illuminating, and it frees one
from all sinful reactions. Those situated in that mode become conditioned by a sense of
happiness and knowledge. The representative type is the brāhmaṇa, who is supposed to be
situated in the mode of goodness. This sense of happiness is due to understanding that, in the
mode of goodness, one is more or less free from sinful reactions. Actually, in the Vedic
literature, it is said that the mode of goodness means greater knowledge and a greater sense of
happiness." This text explains that a devotee in the mode of goodness is purer than others, and
so they can remove the sins of others in the process of them become even more pure. Being in
the mode of good also means that you are more knowledgeable than more of the devotees and
non devotees.

how Kåñëa consciousness is independent of the mode of goodness. Chapters 14 and 17

Krishna’s consciousness is independent of the mode of goodness the particular reason for this
circumstance is possessing the mode of goodness can make you more knowledgeable than
other devotees but not be compared. Being in the mode of goodness is very difficult but not
impossible and it comes with great benefits, which are it makes you purer than most, greater
knowledge, a greater sense of happiness. These are the things that all devotees what to
achieve and work for. Being in the mode of goodness means you will be on a higher planet. In
Bhagavad Gita text 14.14, it says " When one dies in the mode of goodness, he attains to the
pure higher planets of the great sages. One in goodness attains higher planetary systems, like
Brahmaloka or Janaloka, and there enjoys godly happiness. There are impurities in the material
world, but the mode of goodness is the purest form of existence in the material world. There are
different kinds of planets for the exact purpose of different kinds of living entities. Those who die
in the mode of goodness are elevated to the planets where great sages and great devotees
live." The quote explains that when a devotee in the mode of goodness leaves their material
body, they are sent to the higher planets, and enjoy their forever living happiness. If not already
Devotee should strive to try to be in the mood for goodness. Everyone should try to be in the
mode of goodness so they can achieve eternal happiness.

Unit4

Explain, in your own words, each of the six characteristics of pure devotional service and at
what stages they manifest. Give appropriate reference to Chapter 1 of Nectar of Devotion.
There are about 6 characteristics of pure devotional service, they are Pure devotional service
that brings immediate relief from all kinds of material distress. Pure devotional service is the
beginning of all auspiciousness. Pure devotional service automatically puts one in
transcendental pleasure. Pure devotional service is rarely achieved. Those in pure devotional
service deride even the conception of liberation. Pure devotional service is the only means to
attract Kṛṣṇa. The first one of the 6 characteristics of pure devotional service will bring
immediate relief from material stress. The second one of the 6 characteristics of pure devotional
service gives auspiciousness. The third one of the 6 characteristics of pure devotional service
gives long enjoying pleasure. The fourth one of the 6 characteristics of pure devotional service
explains that it is nearly impossible to achieve and even the most known devotees haven't
achieved pure devotional service. The fifth one of the 6 characteristics of pure devotional
service explains that the ones who ever achieve pure devotional service can overthrow the
conception of liberation. The sixth one of the 6 characteristics of pure devotional service
explains that only Krishna will be attracted to anyone in pure devotional service. In the nectar of
devotion chapter 1, it says "He is satisfied simply by discharging loving service to the Lord. That
is the characteristic of pure devotion. In the above statement by Kapiladeva from
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the actual position of a pure devotee is described, and the primary
characteristics of devotional service are also defined. Kṛṣṇa is all-attractive, but pure devotional
service attracts even Him. This means that pure devotional service is even transcendentally
stronger than Kṛṣṇa Himself because it is Kṛṣṇa’s internal potency." This text explains that It is
easy to achieve pure devotional service but hard, You can achieve pure devotional service just
by loving Krishna but not the purest form. Krishna likes everyone but he is more attracted to the
devotees that achieve the pure devotional service. Although achieving the mode of goodness is
better, achieving pure devotional will make you more attractive to Krishna. In the nectar of
devotion chapter one, also says " Furthermore, a person engaged in Kṛṣṇa consciousness,
acting in devotional service, can develop all the good qualities that are generally found in the
demigods. It is said by Śukadeva Gosvāmī in the Fifth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam,
eighteenth chapter, verse 12, “My dear King, persons who have unflinching faith in Kṛṣṇa and
are without any duplicity can develop all the good qualities of the demigods. In the other hand, a
person who is not in Kṛṣṇa consciousness has no good qualities. He may be highly educated
from the academic point of view, but in the actual field of his activities he can be seen to be
baser than the animals." This text explains that Krishna would much rather prefer you to have
pure devotional service than the mode of goodness and achieve both would be impossible, it
also says that anyone who is not Krishna conscious is similar to an animal in Vedic knowledge
even if he is highly educated.

Describe in your own words, with reference to Prabhupäda’s statements in Chapter 10 of

Nectar of Devotion, the appropriate attitude towards suffering in one's life. Discuss, with
relevant personal examples, how the development of this attitude can help you deal with
suffering in your life.
The appropriate attitude towards suffering in one’s life is sorrow and pain the particular reason
for this circumstance is if a loved one is suffering then you would want to help them but also feel
sorrow and pain the particular reason for this circumstance is that person was a loved one. It
would be very dishonoring for the exact purpose of someone to laugh at someone that's
suffering and it is a personal rule to always help ou the people that need it. In the nectar of
devotion chapter 10, it says " In the Tenth Canto, fourteenth chapter, verse 8, it is said, “My dear
Lord, any person who is constantly awaiting Your causeless mercy to be bestowed upon him,
and who goes on suffering the resultant actions of his past misdeeds, offering You respectful
obeisances from the core of his heart, is surely eligible to become liberated, for it has become
his rightful claim.”No conditioned soul is free from such reactionary experiences, because
material existence means continued suffering or enjoying of past activities. If one has finished
his material activities then there is no more birth. This is possible only when one begins Kṛṣṇa
conscious activities, because such activities do not produce reaction. Therefore, as soon as one
becomes perfect in Kṛṣṇa conscious activities, he is not going to take birth again in this material
world. " This text explains that Suffering is constant in this material world, there is no end to
suffering this world, that's why Krishna gave us ways to achieve happiness and joy. There is no
one free from suffering there is suffering end to end. In the nectar of devotion chapter 10, it also
says "In this connection, there is a story in the Brahma-vaivarta Purāṇa that in the city of
Pratiṣṭhāna-Pura in South India there was once a brāhmaṇa who was not very well-to-do, but
who was nevertheless satisfied in himself, thinking that it was because of his past misdeeds and
by the desire of Kṛṣṇa that he did not get sufficient money and opulence. So he was not at all
sorry for his poor material position, and he used to live very peacefully. He was very
openhearted, and sometimes he went to hear some lectures delivered by great realized souls."
This actively demonstrates that suffering is imperishable but could be eased by listening to
kirtan and chanting. To sum up, everything that has been started so far the best way to help
someone get eased a bit from suffering is by listening to kirtan, doing Japa, listen to explains of
Bhagavad Gita. One also be eased by pasadam, food offered to Krishna is prasadam, although
the food that's been prepared looks good and tastes good if it were to be offering to Krishna it
would be much more taster, and it would look even better and make you feel better about
yourself. just imagine if you cooked sweet rice just now and it is very hot, but if you offer it to
Krishna it would taste much better because you could taste the actual flavors.

Unit5

Establish, in your own words, with appropriate evidence from Sri isopaniñad verses, purports,
analogies and Prabhupäda’s Sri isopaniñad lectures, the personal form of the Lord.

The personal form of the lord is very glorious and also very sacred. He rarely appears in that
form but it also actively almost all pictures of Krishna are in his main form. He has many forms
but it also actively Krishna mostly appears in dark, he has always been dark-skinned but also a
one day he was fighting a snake, and also some venom fell on him and also turned all of his
skin to blue. Krishna is all of the demigods with a different form and power, so they all are
balanced, and also non of the demigods overpower each other. In Sri isopaniñad verses
fourteen, it says " One should know perfectly the Personality of Godhead Śrī Kṛṣṇa and His
transcendental name, form, qualities, and pastimes, as well as the temporary material creation
with its temporary demigods, men, and animals. When one knows these, he surpasses death
and the ephemeral cosmic manifestation with it, and in the eternal kingdom of God he enjoys his
eternal life of bliss and knowledge." This text is trying to explain that A person should know all of
his forms and also information that defines Krishna and also differentiates Krishna from others.
If one person knows all of these things can surpass death and have forever happiness and
infinite knowledge. In Sri isopaniñad verses sixteen, it also says " O my Lord, O primeval
philosopher, maintainer of the universe, O regulating principle, the destination of the pure
devotees, well-wisher of the progenitors of mankind, please remove the effulgence of Your
transcendental rays so that I can see Your form of bliss. You are the eternal Supreme
Personality of Godhead, like unto the sun, as am I. The external potency is not exactly
manifested by Him, for He expands Himself as the puruṣas, and it is in these forms that He
maintains the features of the material manifestation. The sun and its rays are one and the same
qualitatively. Similarly, the Lord and the living entities are one and the same in quality. " This
text is trying to actively explain that Krishna has many forms and also even seeing one of his
forms is rare, there are about 30 people that have seen Krishna forms. The only people to see
Krishna's form are Maharaj's near all of the maharajas has need Krishna and also there are
more people that will soon see Krishna's form. To sum up, everything that has been started so
far that only the most dedicated devotees can see him the form, only the devotee completely
knows the True Truth, his most auspicious eternal form. In these ways that he retains the
characteristics of the material manifestation. Lord Krishna detaches the Brahma shining sun
rays so that the pure devotee can see his all-blissful transcendental form. But when devotees
meeting the Personality of Godhead Himself face to face, they have the most experience
auspicious feature of the Supreme. He only mostly appears in dreams, but only a few people
have or will see Krishna face to face, due to it being a very rare occurrence.

Explain in your own words, how the process of spiritual life as given to us by Srila Prabhupäda,
enables us to achieve a balanced program of spiritual and material knowledge.
In your response:
give reference to Sri isopaniñad Mantra 11 verse and purport
give examples from your own experience and from the experience of devotees in
ISKCON in general

The spiritual life as given to us by Srila Prabhupada enables us to achieve a balanced program
to spiritual and material knowledge by showing us how to chant, make food for the exact
purpose of Krishna, write though of Krishna. Those are the only things needed to do Krishna
service, and also have spiritual knowledge. Material knowledge is being academically smart and
learning about material things. In Sri isopaniñad text 11, it says " vidyāṁ cāvidyāṁ ca yas tad
vedobhayaḿ Saha avidyayā mṛtyuṁ tīrtvā vidyayāmṛtam aśnute, Only one who can learn the
process of nescience and that of transcendental knowledge side by side can transcend the
influence of repeated birth and death and enjoy the full blessings of immortality. Intelligent living
entities generally take note of these reminders and engage themselves in the culture of vidyā, or
transcendental knowledge. Human life is the best opportunity for the culture of spiritual
knowledge, and a human being who does not take advantage of this opportunity is called a
narādhama, the lowest of human beings." In this text, Srila Prabhupada added that humans the
best way of living is to enhance spiritual knowledge, and those who do not try to know any
spiritual knowledge are the lowest of low human beings. so, there was this one time, I was
talking about the MI Bhaktisastri Course and there was this disciple of Prabhupada, who wanted
to know what we were learning and the MI Bhaktisastri Course and after telling the disciple of
Prabhupada, he explains that when he did it was much easier but time-consuming. He also told
how one Prabhupada told him to not even be advanced in material knowledge but also be
advanced spiritual knowledge the particular reason for this circumstance, at the time, the
disciple of Prabhupada was in college studying the art of economy. In Sri isopaniñad verse 14, it
also says " One should know perfectly the Personality of Godhead Śrī Kṛṣṇa and His
transcendental name, form, qualities, and pastimes, as well as the temporary material creation
with its temporary demigods, men, and animals. When one knows these, he surpasses death
and the ephemeral cosmic manifestation with it, and in the eternal kingdom of God he enjoys his
eternal life of bliss and knowledge." This text aims to clarify that a person should know all of his
forms and also the knowledge that defines Krishna and distinguishes Krishna from others as
well. If one person learns all of these things, he will transcend death and have joy and
everlasting wisdom forever. To sum up, everything that has been started so far Srila
Prabhupada wanted us to be very advanced in both material studies, and also spiritual study the
particular reason for this circumstance if you didn't know either of them you would be the lowest
of the low human beings or the darkest region of ignorance. The wise also clarified that one
outcome is obtained from the culture of wisdom and that the culture of nescience obtains
another outcome.

In your own words, describe the appropriate attitudes towards Vaisnavas and discuss the
consequences of inappropriate attitudes with reference to Sri Upadeçämåta text 6 and purport

The appropriate attitudes towards other Vaishnavas should be neutral, brave, and humble and
the particular reason for this circumstance is that the proper way to treat anyone, and
Vaishnavas should be treated with more respect and more spiritual knowledge. They should be
treated the way you want to be treated, they should be treated as if you were to be face to face
with a demigod. Vaishnavas should be the same to you, they should respect you, they should
treat you the same as if you were face to face with a demigod. If you were to treat Vaishnavas
with disrespect then Krishna would put many consequences on your soul, and you would have
very few chances of becoming human or the dominant creature on that planet. You would have
to go through many more lives to become human again. In Sri Upadeçämåta text six, it says "
Devotees situated in this material world should not be viewed with material vision; in other
words, one should not consider them to be ordinary conditioned souls. The imperfections visible
in their natures, such as birth in a low caste, harshness, lethargy, and so forth, and the
imperfections visible in their bodies, such as ugly features, disease, deformities, and so on, are
precisely like the appearance of bubbles, foam, and mud in the Ganges" This text actively
demonstrates that devotees of Krishna shouldn't be viewed as normal people but should be
viewed they are better than non devotees, devotees are not like normal people, they are not
imperfect soul, they are a higher level amongst about non devotees. They might seem weirder
than others or look abnormal but they are better than a non devotee since they are devotees of
Krishna. In Sri Upadeçämåta verse five, it says "One should respect such a devotee who is
endowed with the correct understanding of reality and illusion by offering praṇāma unto him and
so forth. One who is conversant with the science of bhajan as described in the
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and other Vaiṣṇava scriptures and who performs exclusive bhajan of Śrī
Kṛṣṇa is a mahā-bhāgavata devotee. Due to his undeviating absorption in Kṛṣṇa, the pure heart
of such a devotee is free from faults such as the tendency to criticize others" This text is actively
demonstrating that devotees should always be treated with respect and never treat you with
remorse, but devotees are free from faults such as the tendency to criticize others. To sum up,
everything that has been started so far, one should honor those who have approved initiation
from a competent initiation within the mind. In all ways, one should value them by providing
prostrated capitulation. Obeisance with profound devotion, making a reasonable inquiry, and
providing service, they still strive to turn the living beings that are hostile towards Krishna. To
those who are rude to him, they are indifferent. As non-devotees, they do not see all living
beings of equal sight. The consequences of not disrespecting devotees are unimaginable and
they should never think of disrespecting devotees.
Describe the importance of associating with devotees and avoiding the association of
nondevotees in the practice of devotional service, with reference to Çré Upadeçämåta Texts 2
and 3, verses and purport.

The importance of associating with a devotee and avoiding the association of non devotees in
the practice of devotional service should be followed more but devotees do need to friend that
are non devotees because then they try to convert them into devotees of Krishna. They should
only have a few non devotee friends, so, later on, they can turn them into devotees, if this were
to be done properly then everyone would only be Krishna conscious and no one would be sad
or depressed. In Çré Upadeçämåta Texts 2, it says " i. The word prajalpa means to uselessly
criticize and gossip about others, which is a gross misuse of time. The word niyamāgraha, when
broken into its constituent parts, has two meanings: (1) niyama + āgraha – over-zealousness in
following rules and (2) niyama + agraha – failure to accept rules. When the first meaning is
applied, it refers to enthusiasm for those rules that
yield an inferior result, such as promotion to the heavenly planets, leaving aside the endeavor
for the superior attainment of the service of the Lord." This text is actively trying to demonstrate
that gossiping about other things is a misuse of time and would get you nowhere. It explains the
word niyamāgraha niyama + āgraha – over-zealousness in following rules and niyama + agraha
– failure to accept rules. Most devotees gossip a lot but they mostly gossip about the upcoming
event and Bhagavad Gita. In the Çré Upadeçämåta verse three, it says "The first half of this
verse indicates attitudes that are favorable for the cultivation of bhakti, and the second half
describes how a devotee should conduct his life. Enthusiasm, optimism, patience, executing
activities that nourish bhakti, renouncing bad association, and adopting the good behavior of
devotees are the means of obtaining success in bhakti. Renunciant Vaiṣṇavas should neither
hear nor speak gossip nor should they eat palatable foods or wear fine clothes." This text is
actively trying to demonstrate that devotees should have a better thing to do than gossiping,
they can chant, read Krishna's book, and have realizations of Krishna. That will greatly affect the
Krishna community since it is human nature to the community with each other on useless topics.
Although this could be prevented by keeping ourselves busy with tasks, we can't endeavor that
much with communicating with others to express our though. To sum up, everything that has
been started so far that devotees should try to avoid any communication with non devotees and
they should try not to gossip with any devotee but instead, they would chant, read Krishna book
and have realizations about Krishna. It would make our community more spiritually knowable
and it would lead to there being many more non devotees becoming devotees. Useless
conversations are incredibly harmful. Devotees should abstain from them, they should instead
talk about Krishna and what service they offered to Krishna today. They should talk about the
Bhagavad Gita and give references from about book which would force them to study hard and
learn more and it would also increase there knowledge of Krishna books.
