solutions to raise money for various medical causes. The concept was incubated at Harvard Innovation
Lab. Since its inception in 2014, Impact Guru has strived to offer a more compassionate solution to those
fighting critical illnesses and to empower individuals and communities to help those in need.

Backed by the sheer determination of more than a thousand employees, Impact Guru has raised over
INR 1000+ crore / USD $125+ million through crowdfunding and helped over 30K+ patients raise money
for their medical treatments, including cancer and rare diseases as well as for expensive transplant
procedures by aggregating a large number of online payments.

Impact Guru banks on more than 3 million+ generous donors to help those in need. The organization
aims to impact 1 million lives by 2030, as it seeks further support from the donor community.

Job Description:

Impact Guru is seeking young and enthusiastic candidates for its Social Impact Internship Program from
across the world. The candidates will get an opportunity to engage and collaborate with hospitals,
medical diagnostic centers, and healthcare communities under the guidance of our esteemed senior
leadership team. As an Social Impact Intern, you will work closely with key stakeholders of the
healthcare industry and foundations supporting the treatment of individuals.
Key Responsibilities:

● Work on the founder’s vision of making an accessible healthcare, to build the entity from Day 0,
which enables you to bring on the creativity in creating awareness, brand position and clear
communications about Impact Guru
● Engage with Indian Diaspora’s and drive the process of supporting individuals and building
relationship with various communities
● Closely track on the partnership opportunities for raising of funds and supporting to the
individuals.
● Closely work with the leaders of the foundation, to develop strategy and Go To Market
initiatives backed with insightful data understanding, and decision making skills
● Driving the fundraisers through the fund raising processes, with simultaneously working on the
donor marketing
● Assist in planning, plotting, roll out and administrate on the smooth execution
● Evolving strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the
guidance of leaders, and project leads
● Work towards the business development processes to utilize your learning in enhancing,
aligning and strategising to support the needy in their fundraising efforts.
● Take end-to-end responsibility for reaching out to the patients and donors to build a strong
community to achieve the end goal of a successful fundraiser.
● Be the face of change, as you represent and make an impact through Impact Guru in building,
nurturing, and supporting the local communities.
● Provide valuable insights and make strategic decisions based on available data.
● Network with multiple stakeholders and display empathy and compassion for creating social
change.
● Support the organization's mission of impacting a million lives by 2030.

● Pro-activeness in understanding the requirements and urge to build a goodwill community by

connecting, communicating, and breaking the ice to support patients in raising funds.
● Ability to present yourself as a leader and take ownership of tasks from the beginning to
enhance the work management skill and prioritize building a human support system.
● Belief in making strategic decisions with insights, data, and understanding the value of a person
at stake.
● Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
● Passion for building a social impact brand and community from Day 0.
● Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English.
● Ability to take ownership of tasks.
