This a comic book translation and version of the earliest of Aeschylus' extant plays (472 B.C.). partly based on Aeschylus' own experiences, specifically the Battle of Salamis. It is unique among surviving Greek tragedies in that it describes a recent historical event and depicts the Persian's reaction to their defeat in Greece, which focuses on the popular ancient Greek theme of hubris and blames Persia's loss on the pride of its king, Xerxes.
