Topic: What are the primary causes of water pollution in Ho Chi Minh city?

Nowadays, with a higher standard of living, people are more concerned about
their health. Water pollution is one of the alarming problems facing people these days.
There are many reasons for this problem.

It is said that industrial waste from factories, industrial zones, etc., is the major
cause of water pollution. Many toxic wastes and pollutants released into water bodies,
such as rivers, without treatment can cause severe damage to water sources because
they are challenging to get rid of.

Besides, it is the farming method using chemicals that affect water sources. It is
undeniable that pesticides, insecticides, and other chemical fertilizers used in
agriculture to protect farmers' crops from bacteria and insects can contribute to water
pollution.

Another thing is that domestic sewage from households is also a reason for water
pollution. It is a fact that untreated sewage from cities and towns is dumped directly
into the water surface. Every home produces wastewater and sewage from daily life
through various activities like using soap, toilets, washing hands, detergents, etc.
Because of the chemicals used to maintain hygiene in restrooms, such sewage is filled
with contaminants and bacteria that are dangerous to both human health and the
environment. Furthermore, it is the lack of people's awareness of water pollution that
people dump waste water and garbage into rivers, and canals make water sources
become bad.

There are many factors such as industrial waste, domestic sewage, and farming
chemicals waste can contribute to water pollution. If there are not any solution to this
problem, our ecosystem and our health will be affected badly .
