People are motivated to donate for three main reasons: empathy, personal
values, and fulfillment. Firstly, many individuals feel empathy and compassion
for those in need, which drives them to contribute financially or in other ways.
Witnessing others' suffering sparks a desire to help and make a positive impact.
Secondly, donating allows people to live out their personal values and beliefs.
They support causes they are passionate about, such as social justice or
environmental sustainability, using donations as a way to actively create
positive change. Lastly, donating provides a sense of fulfillment and
satisfaction. Knowing that even a small contribution can make a difference
gives a sense of purpose and being part of something greater. Thus,
involvement in donation can be explained by these 3 main reasons.
