The pattern is written in English using US

crochet terminology. Instructions are easy to


follow if you are familiar with basic crochet
techniques.

“Cuddling toys” • 2.5 mm hook


• Cotton yarn
Dino, Fox and Otter (I used Schachenmayr Catania “Original”)
- apricot (401), white (106), cream (130)
- dark brown (157), light blue (173), brown

• Black embroidery thread
• Safety eyes 9.00 mm
• Stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
I used the black thread

The toys are approximately 24 cm height with


tail. It may vary though depending on the kind
of yarn and hook size used.
You can also use any color of yarn.
Feel free to add accessories to your very own
smiling toys.

EARS (make 4 pieces, 2-white, 2-apricot)


Use apricot (401) and white (106) yarn.
In magic ring: ch 2 (count it as the first stitch),

Fasten off the white piece and don’t cut the
yarn of the apricot (fig 30).
Lay two pieces together with wrong side
inside and the white piece facing you (fig
31). Insert your hook in first stitch of white

on the hook, pull the yarn through.
Fasten off. Leave a tail for sewing (fig 27).
Stuff the muzzle, place and sew it to the

Use the remaining blue yarn, embroider few
32 spors one stitch long on each side from hair
