GUIDELINES TO CONSIDER PRIOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIT

General instructions:
A. Get familiar with the course schedule meticulously to become well-versed with
critical deadlines, aligning your study plan accordingly.
B. Conduct a rigorous review of the course's formal prerequisites and obligations.
Take note of your responsibilities in the e-learning environment to ensure
compliance with institutional standards.
C. Examine associated activities and tasks as outlined in the syllabus. Subsequently,
formulate a temporal strategy to meet established deadlines.
D. Before participating in synchronous Meet sessions, thoroughly study the
designated compendium per unit to facilitate informed discourse and optimal
learning outcomes.
E. For clarifications or concerns regarding the assignments and activities, contact
your instructor primarily through scheduled tutoring sessions or formal email
correspondence (if needed, only institutional email).

Video Presentation
You are required to record a video presentation for an assignment or project. Therefore,
you need to consider the following:

A. Dress Code: Dress appropriately for an academic presentation. Informal attire is


acceptable but ensure that your attire is neat and presentable.
B. Lumination: Ensure that your setting is sufficiently illuminated for the quality of
your visual aids and overall delivery.
C. Presentation: Do not read from your assignment information. The video should
be a natural expression of your thoughts. But you can practice before recording.
D. Time Limit: Keep your video within the time limit required. Going over will
deduct points from your grade.

Assignments Completion
• Language Tools: You may use grammar correction software to improve the
quality of your work.

• Source Validity: You must use credible and scholarly sources for your
assignments. Verification of sources will be conducted.

Automatic Grade of 5:
Your assignment will automatically be graded with a score of 5 if the following is found:
A. The assignment submitted is incomplete.
B. The work has not been sent in the required format.

Automatic Grade of 0:
Your assignment will automatically be graded with a score of 0 if the following is found:

A. Submitted links are not accessible.
B. Any links, folders, or files are modified after the submission deadline.
C. In cases where a link is sent, the sub-folder is empty, or additional information
was added post-deadline.
D. Assignments are sent via email before and after the deadline.
E. Posting links to the assignment in the comment sections is not allowed unless
your instructor explicitly states otherwise.

Late submissions
A. The justified activities through Bienestar Estudiantil and under their specified
conditions will be graded based on the regular grading scale.
B. Activities not justified through Bienestar Estudiantil will be graded out of 5.
However, the student must request a tutoring session and present the work orally
(Step by step, not reading).

Important note: Justifications are not made through the career direction; they must be
made through the services desk.

Guidelines for Academic Integrity


A. Originality: All submitted works must be original contributions of the student.
Reusing any portion of previously submitted work in a new assignment without
explicit permission is not acceptable.
B. Plagiarism: Copying and pasting text from other sources without proper citation
is strictly prohibited. Referencing should comply with the APA 7th Edition citation
style (If applicable).
C. Third-party Websites: Utilizing third-party websites or platforms that generate
essays or solve problems violates academic integrity.

Disciplinary Measures:
Any guidelines for Academic Integrity violations will be subject to disciplinary measures
as stipulated in Article 119, Section 1, and Article 120, pages 60-61

2. Read each question carefully before answering.
3. There is only one attempt. Thus, make sure to select the correct option.
4. Answer all the questions based on your knowledge. Do not cheat.
5. Try not to expend more time on just one question.
6. Manage your time carefully.
7. Once you finish the test, do not forget to click on ‘‘Finalizar intento.’’

Test availability: From 8:00 a.m. to 23:00 p.m.

Reminder:
1. The test will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 23:00 p.m.
2. You only have 20 minutes to complete the test.
3. Try to spend less time on just one question.
4. The feedback to know the correct answers will be provided one week
after taking this test.
5. Students who live abroad must check the test availability to make the arrangements
according to their time zone.

• Estudiantes PPL: El test será configurado de acuerdo a sus tiempos de acceso al


Infocentro, esto según lo informado por sus coordinadores académicos. (Abierto
de 8:00 a.m. -16:00 p.m.). Tienen 20 minutos para completar el test.

• Estudiantes con Necesidades Educativas Especiales (NEE): Tendrán 40


minutos para completar el test, es la única variante. Se configurará el sistema de
acuerdo con el listado proporcionado por Bienestar Estudiantil.
