C.Can an artist be an artisan, and vice-versa? Why?

Support the answer

The terms “artist” and “artisan” often overlap but have distinct meanings. An artist typically creates works
for aesthetic expression or conceptual exploration, often emphasizing creativity and innovation. On the
other hand, an artisan focuses on skilled craftsmanship and traditional techniques to produce functional or
decorative items. While some individuals may embody both roles, they usually prioritize one aspect over
the other in their practice. So, an artist can possess artisanal skills, and vice versa, but their primary focus
distinguishes them.

"The Road Not Taken"
**Tagalog Translation:**
**English:** Dalawang daan ang nagtakwil sa isang kahoying dilaw,
At pumanaw ako nang hindi makapunta sa dalawa
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, At maging isa sa mga naglalakbay, sandali akong tumayo
And sorry I could not travel both At tiningnan ang isa hanggang sa kaya ko
And be one traveler, long I stood Hanggang sa ito'y nagluklok sa ilalim na damo;
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; Kaya't kinuha ko ang isa pa, na gayundin kay ganda,
At marahil nga'y may mas mabuting basehan,
Then took the other, as just as fair, Dahil ito'y maraming damo at nangangailangan ng paggamit;
Kahit na ang pagdaan doon
And having perhaps the better claim, Ay talagang nagpantay na rin,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there At pareho naman ang dalawang landas
Had worn them really about the same, Ng umaga na yaon, walang yapak na maitim.
Oh, iniwan ko ang una para sa ibang araw!
And both that morning equally lay Ngunit alam kong paano ang daan ay nagtutulak sa daan,
In leaves no step had trodden black. Aking pinagdudahan kung babalik pa ako kailanman.
Oh, I kept the first for another day! Ako'y magsasabi nito nang may buntong hininga
Yet knowing how way leads on to way, Sa kahit saan, sa mga taon at mga taon:
I doubted if I should ever come back. Dalawang daan ang nagtakwil sa kahoying dilaw, at ako—
Ako ang kumuhang sa daan na mas kaunti ang dinaanan,
I shall be telling this with a sigh At iyon ang nagdulot ng lahat ng pagkakaiba.
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
