Statement of Purpose

I'm writing to express my keen interest in the legal internship programme at Maharashtra
National Law University's Centre for Information Communication Technology and Law. I
am excited to explore the dynamic area where law and information and communication
technology converge as a third-year law student at Amity University, Lucknow. My
professional objectives are strongly aligned with the institution’s reputation for
groundbreaking research and the chance to participate in initiatives that solve the difficulties
of this developing sector.
I have been studying a wide variety of legal topics over my academic career, but the
combination of law and technology has always piqued my curiosity. The legal landscape has
undergone a tremendous transformation as a result of the quick development of technology,
which brings both exciting prospects and difficult obstacles. I am keen to learn about the
complex details that govern this field of law as an aspiring legal professional and to use
technology to achieve a just and equitable society.
I've actively taken part in a number of research projects that have improved my research
abilities and given me a strong appreciation for thorough analysis in my institution. In
addition to other cutting-edge subjects, I have worked on projects that examine the legal
ramifications of artificial intelligence, data privacy, cybersecurity, and digital rights. These
experiences have improved my knowledge of the subject while also enhancing my capacity to
analyse complicated legal problems objectively and suggest creative answers.
A fantastic opportunity to collaborate with eminent academics and industry experts would be
to intern at The Centre for Information Communication Technology and Law. The prospect
of being a part of research projects and contributing to publications in reputed journals and
books excites me. I'm keen to participate in scholarly discussion and work with others on
projects that examine the legal implications of developing technology.
In conclusion, I am confident that an internship at The Centre for Information
Communication Technology and Law will be a life-changing experience for me and give me
the information and skills I need to successfully negotiate the constantly changing legal and
technological world. The prospect of helping with the instituion's research projects,
publications, policy formulation, and other important activities excites me.
I appreciate your taking a look at my application. I have a strong desire to work with and
support Maharashtra National Law University's Centre for Information, Communication, and
Technology and Law.
Thankyou.
Sincerely,
Sharanya Agarwal
