• Unisa’s First-year Experience (FYE) initiative aims to provide
extended support to students entering Unisa and open
distance e-learning (ODeL) for the first time by increasing
communication between Unisa and our students, and by
providing important information during crucial points in the
student journey.
• FYE is a university initiative geared towards integrating and
streamlining the broad range of services to ensure timely and
relevant support to our first-year students.
