care services in the Philippines
the lack of access of our citizen from healthcare services impedes the
development in the country as many people suffers from various
diseases which in turn reduces the overall productivity of the
economy. Basically, less healthy employees disrupt the economic
growth and development.

What is the mandate of each attached agency?

What steps have the agencies done to address the
problem?

PCHRD is responsible is to promote and regulate researches in the

country that focuses primarily on health. It aims to improve the
quality of health in the country. PCHRD developed HERDIN or also
known as Health Research and Development Information Network
which provides healthcare services. It publishes research findings
or health information that is accessible to the public.
 Is the issue being addressed in the Pagtanaw2050
framework presneted?
It does not directly address the lack of effective and accessible
health in the country. Nonetheless, the framework do emphasize the
essence of having Universal Health Care which includes providing
funds for Barangay Health Centers. Additionally, it aims to
stengthen the health infrastructures and ensure that it is equally
distributed among Filipino citizens.

Will solving the problem lead us to achieve

the goals of AmbisyonNatin 2040?

YES. One of the goals of AmbisyonNatin 2040 is giving

Filipinos longer and healthy lives. Specifically, its vision is for
Filipinos to enjoy a comfortable and secured life in 2040,
where no one is poor. With Pagtanaw2050 framework health
issues in the country can be addressed which can improve
the overall economic growth of the country since more
healthy Filipinos will be able or capable to work.
