Job Purpose:
• Summarizes the main points of the job description which may include key responsibilities, functions, and duties.
• Job Purpose is the prime objective for which the Job holder is responsible for. It is directly controlled by the Job holder.
• Should contain 1 - 3 key points
The role of Tunnelling Associate will be covering all and not limited to:
• Plan and execute to optimize the tunnel productivity by improving cycle time and the progress.
• Facilitate the safe and efficient excavation of tunnels in underground mining operations, while
adhering to engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.
• Optimize blast designs and execution to achieve efficient rock fragmentation while minimizing over
break and under break.
• Collaborate on tunnel construction project plans.
• Knowledge on proper drilling of Face, as per rock condition
• Maintain a good relationship with the customers and external agencies.

Education Qualifications / Background

• Graduation or Technical Diploma in Mining
• Have minimum experience of 3-4 years in Ammonium Nitrate or Explosives Industry field application
Relevant and Total Years of Experience
• Mention years of experience required for the job
• Elaborate more of the relevance / type of the job experience required by the role
• Minimum 4 years related to Tunnelling in Infrastructure domain in operations and Blasting job.
• Have knowledge of handling explosives and ammonium nitrate and its legal requirements
Technical/Functional Expertise
• Stare minimum proficiency required on specific technical or functional skills required for the Job Role
• Demonstrate the knowledge of process requirements in Infrastructure working methods.
• Monitoring the quality of tunnel excavation to ensure that it meets engineering standards and
specifications.
• Assessing the stability of rock formations and determining the safest and most efficient routes for
tunnel excavation.
