Definition of safety and employee welfare:

◦ Safety:
Safety refers to the condition of being protected from harm, danger, or injury. In the context of the workplace, safety
encompasses measures and practices implemented to prevent accidents, injuries, or illnesses among employees. This
includes identifying and mitigating potential hazards, providing appropriate training and equipment, and adhering to
regulatory standards to ensure a secure work environment.

◦ Employee Welfare:
Employee welfare refers to the well-being and overall quality of life of employees within an organization. It encompasses various
factors beyond physical safety, including social, economic, and psychological aspects. Employee welfare initiatives may include
providing fair compensation and benefits, promoting work-life balance, offering opportunities for professional development,
supporting physical and mental health, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring equal treatment and opportunities for all
