JOB DESCRIPTION (FACULTY)

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Department: FACULTY
Responsibilities:
 Teach SHS/Tertiary courses in general education, including but not limited to courses in
English, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
 Develop and deliver engaging and effective instructional materials that promote active
learning and student engagement.
 Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to support student
success.
 Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals, including course selection and
program requirements.
 Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, assessment activities and
extra-curricular activities.
 Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publication, and presentations, relevant
to the field of general education.
 Contribute to the school’s service and outreach initiatives, including involvement in
committees and community partnerships.
 Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field.
