REFLECTION PAPER:

There are so many challenges that we are encountering these days and one of the
primary struggles that we are encountering is our environmental challenges. Cavite
State University- Silang Campus organized and dedicated time to conduct a seminar in
order to address these challenges. With the help of our NSTP facilitators and some of
our Barangay officials. Addressing environmental issues such as climate change is
critical in today’s interconnected society. Climate action, stress reduction, green tourism,
and green IT are all critical components of establishing a sustainable future.

Climate action teaches us that it is critical to take decisive action to minimize

carbon emissions by embracing renewable energy and sustainable practices. Enjoying
and connecting to our environment can also be a way to reduce stress. Connecting with
nature, such as hiking or spending time in urban green spaces, not only decreases
stress but also builds appreciation for the environment. As someone who always dreams
of travelling green tourism teaches us that we should travel responsibly. Green tourism
emphasizes helping the local economy and limiting environmental damage. Choosing
environmentally friendly accommodations and respecting cultural heritage are important
practices.

All aspects of our lives have been and will always be influenced by technology.
Gree IT teaches us to promote energy-efficient practices in technology, recycling e-
waste, and choosing eco-friendly electronics contribute to reducing the environmental
footprint of IT. Technology also influences and has a huge impact on environmental
pollution and one of the greatest things that we can do to stop this problem is by
promoting and putting green IT in action.

Embracing these principles reflects a commitment to sustainability in daily life. By

advocating for sustainable practices and making responsible choices, we can collectively
create a greener and more resilient future for generations to come.
