GPS CLOCK Installation and connectivity Snaps

DT-GPS Clock
➢ GNSS Port Connected to Antenna
➢ Power A connected to MCB03A
➢ Power B connected to MCB03B
➢ Poe Port 1 used for MPLS Clock
➢ Poe Port 2 used for EPABX Clock
➢ Poe Port 3 used for CCTV Clock

RT-GPS Clock-1
➢ GNSS Port Connected to Antenna
➢ Power A connected to MCB03A
➢ Power B connected to MCB03B
➢ Poe Port 1 used for MPLS Clock
➢ Poe Port 2 used for EPABX Clock
➢ Poe Port 3 used for CCTV Clock

RT-GPS Clock-2
➢ GNSS Port Connected to Antenna
➢ Power A connected to MCB04A
➢ Power B connected to MCB04B
➢ Poe Port 1 used for MPLS Clock
➢ Poe Port 2 used for EPABX Clock
➢ Poe Port 3 used for CCTV Clock

* ***** GPS CLOCK CONFIGURATION******

Step1 :- Login to GPS Clock

User ID – root

Password – ChgMeNOW
Click on Continue

Step 2:-

To assign IP of GPS Clock go in configuration mode and click on System


Now go in communication mode

Right click on DCN(eth0)


Now click on Edit Configuration and set IPv4 mode give Network IP click on ok

Step3: System Configuration

Go in Configuration Mode and right click on System , click on Edit System


Configure Identity, Configuration mode and click on OK button
Step4:- GNSS PORT Enable click on Synchronization mode

Now click on NE -1
Open NTEOSA5412 click on + icon and then Right Click on GPS-1-1-1-1(GNSS) Port , click on Edit
configuration

And configure the State ,GNSS System Types, configuration and then click on ok
Step5:- TIME CLOCK Configuration

Right Click on TIME CLOCK-1-1-1-1 Mode and click on Edit Clock


Now configure Identification , State, configuration mode and click on OK button

Now Add time clock Reference

Right click on TIME CLOCK-1-1-1-1 and click on Add time clock Reference
Configure Identification , Configuration click on OK Button

STEP6 :- NE(Network Element) PORT Configuration

Click on + icon of NE-1


Now configure Port 1…..10 as per Requirement

Right click on E1000-A-1 (port1) click on Edit Configuration

Now configure Identification, State, Port, Power over Ethernet Mode and then click on OK button
*********Configure Remaining Port same as per Requirement*******

Step7:- NTP Configuration

Click on NTP button and Go in System Mode

Right click on NE-1 Mode to Create NTP Clock


Configure Identification ,State, NTP Clock Configuration then Click on OK Button

NOW Click on + icon of NTEOSA5412 and Select NTP clock Port


Now create NTPFP(NTP FLOW POINT) for Port1(E1000-A-1)

Configure Identification , AdminState,Configuration, VLAN Configuration Mode then Click OK


Now Create NTP Clock Interface for Port1(E1000-A-1)
Configure Identification , State, IP Interface Configuration mode and click on OK Button
Now create NTP Virtual Port , Right Click on NTP Flow Point

Configure Identification and configuration mode then click on OK button


NTP Clock has been Configured for PORT1(E1000-A-1). we configure remaining port same as per
Requirment.

Step8:- NTP License Enable

GO in Maintenance Mode Click on + icon of Administration option


Click on + icon of Software Licensing then Right click on Feature Management , click on Edit Feature

Enable NTP -Server then click on OK Button
