+ Một số động từ có thể thường dùng: put into, put on, put
through…
 Nếu có thể, hãy cố gắng paraphrase từ vựng mà đề bài đã
cho.
 Dạng Process
Cách mô tả từng bước sau khi đã tìm ra động từ của bước đó:
1. Dùng bị động (V phân từ )
2. DùngV-ing
VD: Vận chuyển plastic bottles đến nhà máy
Động từ: deliver / transport
1. At the next step, plastic bottles are delivered to a factory.
2. The process continues with delivering plastic bottles to a
factory.
 Dạng Process
Chúng ta cứ mô tả lần lượt từng bước như vậy, và sử dụng các từ
nối để liên kết các bước với nhau:
Với cách 1 (dùng bị động):
At the first/second/next/subsequent/following/final step/stage, …
Subsequently, … / After that, … / Then, …
Finally, …
Với cách 2 (dùng V-ing):
The process begins/starts/continues/goes on/ends/finishes with…
+ V-ing.
The next/subsequent/following step/stage involves… + V-ing.
 Some structures used in process essay
• ​S + tobe + V-ed (bị động)
ví dụ: At the beginning of the process, clay is dug from the ground.
• Being + V-ed (mệnh đề quan hệ rút gọn với thể bị động)
ví dụ: After being washed, the tomatoes are moved to the grilling stage.
• Rút gọn khi 2 câu chung chủ ngữ
ví dụ: Having mixed the pulp by hand, he uses a rolling pin to flatten the
pulpHaving been poured into a shallow tray with some water, the pulp is then
mixed by hand
• Sử dùng liên từ phụ thuộc WHILE
ví dụ: While bottles are transported to a cleaning factory, other kinds of waste
are buried in landfills.
• Rút gọn với WITH
ví dụ: Olives are smashed into olive paste, with olive stones being taken away.
Phân tích các bước:
1. Throw away / discard / dispose of:
plastic bottles
2. Deliver / transport (by a truck)
3. Sort / classify / categorize
4. Compress into blocks
5. Crush + wash / clean
6. Produce / make plastic pellets
7. Heat pellets + form raw materials
8. Package raw materials
9. Produce / make end products
10.Use products and throw away
Phân tích các bước:
1. Grow sugar canes
2. Harvest sugar canes (2 ways:
by hand or by machines)
3. Crush sugar canes -> Juice
4. Purify juice (by a limestone
filter)
5. Heat the juice -> syrup
6. Separate sugar crystals
7. Dry and cool sugar
