▶ Medspeed consists of accelerometer, gyroscope sensors, sound module, GPS module, GSM
module.

▶ This device is mounted on the user’s vehicle.

▶ When the vehicle meets with an accident or crashes on the other object the sensors will
detect it and it triggers an alarm and it sends a notification message to the mentioned
contact persons, police stations, hospitals, and to the ambulance person.

▶ Medspeed provides easy communication. Here the GPS helps the ambulance person to reach
to the accident spot with the shortcut routes so that he can reach soon and helps to save the
life. Along with that the ambulance person provides a message to the hospital about the
status of the patient, so that the hospital would be ready for the treatment of the patient.

▶ Here it helps the family members also to know the condition of the patient and it helps the
police for the documentation.
▶ In case if it was an small accident and the person is not hurted much and if he can manage
himself on his own, for such cases we have added an time limit to our product. The alarm
triggers after 1 minute, so if the person is alright then he can off the alarm so that it does
not send any message. If he did not off the alarm it triggers after 1 minute and it sends the
alert notifications.

We have an idea of implementing our idea with the help of government as we can see many compulsory rules like:

◆ 'Automatic Headlamp On' (AHO) in two-wheelers from 2017. This means, from April 2017, two-wheelers in
India, like some of the high-end bikes and the daytime running lights (DRLs) that we find in cars, will come
with headlights that stay on as long as ignition is on. While officially the new AHO headlights will be offered

◆ Essentially, the two-wheeler manufacturers will now remove the on/off switch seen on the right handlebar
located between the engine kill switch and the electric start button. This means, henceforth new bike owners
will not be able to switch off the headlamp when the bike is turned on, which will help in improving overall
visibility. DRLs or AHOs are currently mandatory in several developed markets and the government is trying
to mandate this rule in India

◆ The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Authorities wants all cars manufactured in India on and after
1 April 2018 to be rolled out with ABS as a standard feature across all variants. Furthermore, from April 1,
2019, all cars that are sold in the country should be fitted with the ABS tech. This move will definitely
shoot up the prices of the vehicles sold in India. Coming to two-wheelers, the Government of India has already
issued a notification that requires two-wheeler manufacturers to introduce ABS and CBS as a standard
feature on their offerings from next year.
