1. Additional information
Celeste is a character from the Animal Crossing franchise, created by Katsuya
Eguchi and published by Nintendo Co. Ltd. This crochet pattern was created
by Kittens and Mittens, to be as realistic as possible to the original design.
This pattern is for personal use only. You are not allowed to share the
information contained within this pattern or to sell the toys made using this
pattern. If you publish photos of the toys that are crocheted following this
pattern, mentioning the author Kittens and Mittens is kindly appreciated.
This toy was crocheted using a 2.5 mm hook with DK Ricorumi yarn, which is
100% cotton; one ball of yarn (57.5 m – 25 g) for each of the colors was
enough to complete it. To create a toy with the same proportions, it is
recommended to use a similar yarn type and hook size. The stuffing material
used in this toy was polyester wadding, while the details on the belly, on the
eyebrows and the eyes were created using black and white felt.

Second piece
Cut the yarn and guide it into each front loop of the last round using a needle.
Fasten off the hole and hide the yarn inside.
21
Following same procedure, repeat four more times the steps from rounds
4-7 to make a total of 5 points for the star.
Close the gaps in between each star point with the leftover yarn using your
crochet hook. See image 41-44
Remember to fill the star with stuffing before crocheting the last point and
finally to also fill the latter with stuffing.

13.7 Final details
Using Terracotta yarn (Ricorumi 069) embroider three lines around each leg
(image 58). Then create a crisscross pattern on the belly (image 58) and
embroider two nostrils on the upper side of the beak (image 59). Finally,
using Lotus yarn (Ricorumi 067) embroider the blush on the cheeks, 3 stitches
away from the beak (image 60). Alternatively, you can attach these details in
place using fabric or multipurpose glue.
58 60
59
Then, cut 9 small pieces of White felt accordingly to the sizes of the squares
they will be covering on the belly and glue them in place to obtain the
characteristic diamond pattern of the belly (image 61). Cut 10 small circles of
White felt and glue 5 of them onto each of the eyebrows (image 62). Finally,
for the eyes cut two pieces on Black felt in the shape of a crescent moon and
glue them on the face, at the sides of the beak (image 62). If you want the
eyes to be open, cut and glue two ovals instead. Alternatively, all these details
can be attached in place using the needle felting technique.
