International Cricket Council (ICC) that has been held six times thus far. The first edition of the
tournament took place in South Africa in 2007, and it has since been held in England, West
Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, and Australia. The tournament features 12 to 16 teams,
including the top Full Members and teams selected through a qualifying process. Each edition of
the tournament has seen some exciting matches and memorable moments, such as India's
triumph in the inaugural edition in 2007, England's first ICC title win in the third edition in 2010,
and West Indies' stunning comeback to win the final against England in the sixth edition in 2016.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the seventh edition of the tournament, which was scheduled to
take place in Australia in 2020, was postponed.
