Parameter configuration area for serial/rs232 port, which is used for connecting the device
and computer. This is the key step which define a successful use for the rest. Before using
this option, please confirm that the device and computer are successfully connected
through the USB interface. Then press Open com. The LED before the device type will

change from to .which indicates the connection is successful. Button used for
query all of the parameter. (parameters in default or newly set parameters)

Parameter configuration area for device unit, which is used for configuring needed value

Software version and protocol area, which showcase the current basic information of the
device.

Upgrade area,which is used for latest firmware upgrade.

3.1 Serial port configuration: when you switch the COM port, please reconnect the device and read the parameters
3.2 Firmware upgrade: progress bar indicating. Please pay attention to the bar until it fully reaches 100%

3.4 Parameter Control: when you start to fill the value , the color of the character will change to red.

The “APPLY” button will change to red either.

3.4 Parameter Control: Select the network route that you want to register first. This is a special option only when you need.
You can choose or shed any of below network at your request.

4. Configuring area guide

A. Quick start guide: After each device leaves the factory, all parameters have a default setting. When you get the
sample and want to use it quickly. Please confirm that at least the following three necessary conditions have been
modified or set up successfully in a way that suits your needs: IP address, port, APN of the SIM. You can find these
three parameters via “Server setting”&”APN setting”.

TIPS: Please note vibra (g sensor) this option. If this option is selected, the upload interval will be based on
the time set by “Active-on and Active-Off” in the “report interval setting”. If this item is not selected, that is to say,
when G-SENSOR is turned off, the data upload interval will only be uploaded according to the interval set by “ACTIVE-
OFF” in the “report interval setting”.
