LITERATURE REVIEW
6
As of my last update in January 2022, there isn't a specific previous study focused on Flying Machine by
Arvind Groups in the context of mastering fast fashion and trends. However, there are several studies and
analyses available on related topics within the fashion industry that may offer insights into similar
strategies and practices.

1. Fast Fashion and Supply Chain Agility:

"Fast Fashion, Sustainability, and the Ethical Appeal of Luxury Brands" by Fletcher (2008) explores the
dynamics of fast fashion and the challenges it poses to sustainability.

"The Impact of Fast Fashion on Supply Chain Management: A Case Study of H&M" by Fan (2018)
examines H&M's supply chain practices in the context of fast fashion.

2. Collaborative Design and Innovation:

"The Role of Collaborative Design in Sustainable Apparel Product Development" by Kim and Kim
(2019) discusses the importance of collaborative design processes in the development of sustainable
fashion products.

"Fashion Innovation: A Review of Technologies and Applications" by Lu and Lu (2014) provides an

overview of technological innovations driving change in the fashion industry.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

"Big Data Analytics in the Fashion Industry: A Review" by Moorthy et al. (2019) explores the use of big
data analytics in various aspects of the fashion industry, including marketing, supply chain management,
and trend forecasting.

"Predictive Analytics for Fashion: A Review on Forecasting Methods and Application Areas" by Schmitt
et al. (2021) discusses predictive analytics techniques used in fashion forecasting and decision making.

Sustainability Initiatives:

"Sustainability in the Fashion Industry: A Systematic Literature Review" by Roy et al. (2017) provides an
overview of sustainability initiatives and practices within the fashion industry.

"Sustainable Supply Chain Management in the Fashion Industry: A Systematic Literature Review" by
Kannan and Tan (2015) examines sustainable supply chain management practices adopted by fashion
companies.

Digital Innovation and Personalization:

"The Impact of Digital Technologies on Innovations in Retail Business Models: A Case Study on the
Fashion Industry" by Choudhury et al. (2019) investigates the role of digital technologies in driving
innovation in retail, with a focus on the fashion industry.

7
"Personalization in Fashion E-commerce: A Systematic Literature Review" by Kim et al. (2020) explores
personalization strategies and technologies employed by fashion e-commerce companies.

While these studies may not directly focus on Flying Machine by Arvind Groups, they offer valuable
insights into the broader themes of fast fashion, supply chain management, collaboration, sustainability,
data-driven decision making, digital innovation, and personalization within the fashion industry, which
can be relevant for understanding Flying Machine's strategies and practices.
