1 General

1.1 Purpose of this document


In the document Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Description, the basic layouts of the
Graphic and Trend displays are described. This document describes the operating displays
used in the SGT-700 plant delivery.

1.2 The SGT-700 displays


The SGT-700 interactive displays are built up of a number of “pages”, each having a
certain purpose. The system displays are based on the Process & Instrumentation

1.3 Compressor and Gas Process displays


During the life time of this compressor station, the suction pressure will drop. To always
stay at the same discharge pressure in the future, the setup of the compressors and the gas
process needs to be changed depending on the pressure drop at the suction side. This is the
reason to why the project is divided in four different phases. The control system logic will
change depending on the actual operation phase
The control system logic will cover all four phases. Due to the fact that all software design
shall be done at the same time and to stay to one program, the shifting between the phases
will be done with four selector settings in the software, one for each phase.
There are different HMI displays depending on the actual activated phase1 for the
compressor and the gas-process.

2 Unit Operation Display

2.1 General
The Unit Operation display is used during the start-up sequence, normal operation and the
shut down sequence. It includes functions to select turbine controller, fuel-mode and to
start and stop. The display also indicates whether a certain Function Group (FG) is in
operation or not. This is shown in the Start Indication column. The most important values
such as temperature, pressure and process data can also be observed here.

START INDICATION
Ventilation Indicates when the ventilation is put into service and purging of all
rooms of the unit is proceeding.

Acc With Starter Acceleration of the gas turbine by both start motor and combustion of
fuel.
Acceleration Start motor is stopped and acceleration is carried out by combustion of
fuel.
Turbine In Service Turbine and Gas Compressor in service and unit on Load
Purge Time Indicates the remaining time for the purge sequence.

STOP INDICATION
Start Abort Indicates that the abortion of the start sequence is activated.
UL90 Shutdown An unloading shutdown is initiated. The unit will be unloaded until the
fault disappears or the active load is zero. Maximum 90 second.
UL30 Shutdown An unloading shutdown is initiated. The unit will be unloaded until the
fault disappears or the active load is zero. Maximum 30 second.
Instant Shutdown Indicates that an instant shutdown trip is activated.
Stopping Indicates that the stop sequence is activated.
Warm Turbine Indicates that the cooling down sequence will be activated after a stop
or trip.
Barring
Indicates turning of turbine-shaft.
Cool Down Time
Indicates the remaining time for the cooling down sequence.

13 Overview Phase 1 & 2, 3, 4 Display

13.1 General
This view is showing the total gas-process design around the compressor. During the life
time of this compressor station, the suction pressure will drop. To always stay at the same
discharge pressure in the future, the setup of the compressors and the gas process needs to
be changed depending on the pressure drop at the suction side. This is the reason to why
the project is divided in four different phases. There are 3 different displays the first one is
showing phase1 and 2 the other two are showing phase 3 and 4.

16 Sealing Gas Compressor Display

16.1 General
The Sealing Gas Compressor display shows the compressor sealing, separation gas system
and the seal gas system. There is one seal gas system for stage 1 on the compressor and

19 Gas Process display

19.1 General
This view is showing the total gas-process design around the compressor. During the life
time of this compressor station, the suction pressure will drop. To always stay at the same
discharge pressure in the future, the setup of the compressors and the gas process needs to
be changed depending on the pressure drop at the suction side. This is the reason to why
the project is divided in four different phases. There are 3 different displays the first one is
showing phase1 and 2 the other two are showing phase 3 and 4.
