If you are struggling with saving money, let me tell you that you

are not the only one. Many people find it hard to save money
because they buy things that they do not really need or pay for
services that they do not really use, and they run out of money
some days before the end of the month.

People usually buy things without paying attention to how much

they are actually spending. This is a huge mistake. You should
keep track of all your expenses. It does not matter if you bought a
new item of clothing or just a coffee at the coffee store while you
were walking around the city. You can use an app or keep record
of all your expenses manually. This will help you know where all
your money goes. If you spend too much money on small things,
then you will be aware of it and you will be able to reduce the
amount of unnecessary things you buy every month.

Although keeping track of how much you spend is a great way to

avoid wasting too much money, I have a much better alternative
that will probably help you save money without feeling like you are
cutting your spending. If you do not want to stop buying or paying
for some products or services, then there is another solution for
you. One of the most common pieces of advice that you can hear
to avoid spending all your salary every month is that you should
“pay yourself first”, but what is that supposed to mean? Well,
basically you should take a small part of your salary as soon as you
get your paycheck before paying any of your bills or spending it on
any product you want. It does not matter if you save 5, 10 or 20
dollars a month, this is up to you. At the end of the day, it depends
on how much you want to save. Maybe you can start with a small
amount or a small percentage of your salary, and then slowly
increase the amount over time. If you do this, you will see that you
will start making more money every month or at least you will
reduce your expenses, since this method will help you minimize
impulse buys of nonessential things.
