Windows Exercise 3

1. Create the following structure on the hard disk.

C:\

YOUR FATHER NAME

2. Copy the E-MAIL into the folder SOFTNET

3. Using Notepad type the following
My computer is a special type of folder that contains all of the main resources
of your computer. to open my computer folder we double click its icon which
is found on the desktop.
4. Save the above text under the folder INTERNET by filename comp.
5. Type the following text using word pad.
WORDPAD
The word pad is a simple word processor that will help us to create, edit and format
simple documents. Word pad is similar to note program but it contains more
features and it is capable of opening and converting a wider variety of documents.
6. Save the above text as a text document by filename Letter1 under the folder
INTERNET. And change the appearance of the text (not the title) as:
Font: Arial
Font size: 14
Right alignment
Font colour Blue
7. Save the changed text by the name Lette2 under the folder INTERNET.
8. Draw the Ethiopian flag using PAINT and save it under the folder YOUR
FATHER NAME by a filename Ethiopia
9. Copy the file letter1 from the internet folder into the ACCESS Folder.
10.Rename the file letter 1, which is found in the ACCESS folder to Letter3
11.Move the file Letter1 from the INTERNET folder into the EXCEL folder.
