Module 2: Change a Task List 

Lesson Summary
A task list is a prioritized list of all tasks and
responsibilities that need to be performed at a
certain amount of time. The list will contain
everything that needs to be done and obviously, the
tasks that have the nearest deadline are given
priorities.

To delete a task, click its row (Task ID) number on

the left side of the sheet and press the Delete key.
Project doesn't display a warning or ask you to
conGrm deleting a task, so make sure that you really
mean it when you press Delete. If you screw up,
press Ctrl+Z immediately to restore the deleted
task.

Go to File > Options > Schedule, turn on the feature

and click OK.

A Network Diagram is a graphical way to view

tasks, dependencies, and the critical path of your
project.

The critical path is the longest in a project,

calculated by summing the durations of the
individual tasks in the path, which determines the
duration of the project.

Finish-to-Start, Start-to-Start, Finish-to-Finish and

Start-to-Finish.

This is a powerful tool for monitoring scope, time

and cost. It is also referred to as the budgeted cost
of work performed.
