Exercise 1:

1. What different places have you been to on holiday?

Honestly, I have few chances travelling to various destination. So the number of types of
places are not diverse.
Mountainous area: where ethnic minority lives, attend fairs
Amusement park: Dragon Park in Ha Long, Quang Ninh, school organized
2. Have you ever been to the desert? What about a city break?
Actually no. Partly because there is no desert in my country. If I want to travel to that place,
I’ll have to go to somewhere like North Africa. Therefore, it could take a lot of money and I
am still a student so I have to ask my parent for financial help. Maybe in the future I’ll try to
have high income so I can more easily get to the desert. But honestly, I’m not good at
adapting in new place so visiting the desert is not cherry on top with me.

I strongly believe that travelling is a way of people healing themselves. For example, when

work better.
9. Do you like long or short holidays?
I like both short and long holidays. Short holidays will recharging you, you can rest and
you can spent day with family and friend by hanging out & covering local places.

But in long holidays you are totally free from work and without any tension. In long
holidays you can explore new places in your country or around the country. Like I am
travel enthusiast and i generally go for the new places in long like 2 to 3 week holidays.

but everything is depends on where you travelling and with whom you travel, because
some time you also get bored by boring places or boring partners in long holidays.

I’m not really good at numbers and dates, but I’m pretty sure that there

I still remember vividly that I had an unforgettable trip after passing the entrance exam to the high
school. It was the year before, in fact. The trip helps relieve my stress really well.
At first, my family decided to go by buses. However, I have car sick and I can’t stand the smell on
the bus, it makes me feel terrible. Therefore, we travelled by booking cars. It costed a little bit
higher but it was desirable.
Before the trip, there were several things which must be prepared carefully. I undertook checking
the weather forecast, chose the time and also the places. It was like the privilege of getting into a
school for gifted students. And our destination was the zoo. Besides, my mom and my dad went to
the convenient store to but some necessary items ‘cause we planned to have a camping after
visiting the zoo, something such as: toothpaste, disposable bath towels and a torch. Then we all did
the packing in good mood.
Arrived at the chosen place, I was astonished about every thing I saw. It was the first time I saw a
tiger in white fur in real life. I was a little bit scared but everything was fine. And I took a lot of
photos of the animals in the zoo. They were all cute and friendly. I was told about the feature and
habits of each animal, which was really absorbing. I wish to have visit there once more.
After that, we moved to the camp site and pitch the tent. I didn’t know how to help so I went
around and came across a little girl who cried loudly. I stood in front of her and asked what
happened. and the girl replied that she had lost her mother and asked me to help her because no
one had passed by until then. though I wasn't sure if I could or not but I agreed, all I did was take
her to the security room and use the loudspeaker to call her mother. and I stood there waiting,
after 15 minutes her mother finally arrived.
