Pallet_id Tobacco bales/Cartons

Introduction:
The introduction of AX-dynamics as new ERP system for STG implicates that all individual Tobacco
bales/cartons need a unique identification. The unique identification will be called “Pallet id”.

It is the intention our Supplier will print the labels according our specification and attach the labels to
the bales/cartons prior to shipment to STG.

Pallet id Numbers:
The pallet id number contains a Batch number and a serial number. The batch number contains year
of offer and sequence number. i.e.

306000120001 ( 3= 2013, 3060= contract, 3060001=batch sequence, 20001 serial number within the
batch=bale number). Note the serial number within the batch is also the original bale number of the
supplier (Minimum 4 digits).

The Pallet id’s will always be provided by HaDe in order to ensure unique numbering.

Lot number:
The original lot number has been created for recognition in the warehouse. This recognition function
will be taken over by the Batch number.

Headmark/Undermark:
Traditional marking in INK (such as; Headmark/Undermark/Suplier Balenumber) on the bale is still
requested in order to identify the bale in case the Sticker is damaged / unreadable / lost. Which part
of the marking will be printed on the bale is provided by HaDe.

EAN dimensions code 128

Pallet label position:

Every bale/carton needs 2 labels attached to the “end face “. Only for C48 cartons the label should be
attached to the “long side” because the C48 cartons are stacked side wise in the warehouse.
