INTRODUCTION
The Secondary School Certificate Part-II 1st Annual Examination, 2022 result is
hereby declared today the 31st August, 2022. The Candidate has been examined in Part-
I as per condensed syllabus/Accelerated learning program under covid-19 Examination
policy 2021 while in part-II as per prescribed syllabus. Hence result is considered as
valid and fair.
1. ERRORS AND OMISSIONS ARE EXCEPTED. This result Gazzette is issued as a
notice only. Any entry appearing therein does not in itself confer any right or
privilege to a candidate for the grant of a Certificate. However, the Board reserves
the right of rectifying errors and omissions in the result at any time.
2. Total number of candidates who applied for admission to the examination:

73247.
3. The marks obtained by the successful candidates have been shown against their
Roll Nos. / names in the Result Gazette.
4. The candidates against whose Roll Nos./Names some abbreviations of subjects &
papers are mentioned have failed in these subjects & papers, and are eligible to
re-appear in the absent subject/s & paper/s till such period as detailed below: -
5. For the purpose of Improvement of grade/marks, a candidate will be provided four

examination opportunities in current/prevalent syllabi within a period of three year after
having passed the SSC or HSSC examination, in the same subject/group in which he/she
provisionally passed the examination subject to the condition that he/she has not attained
the higher qualification during this period. However, it will be the choice of candidate
weather he/she appears for improvement of marks in any subject/s or part -I or part-II or as
whole with the condition that the candidate can avail these four chances mentioned above
till the improvement of the actual result within three years Once the result of candidate is
improved, he/she will not be allowed to appear again. However, the candidate appearing
to improve their overall grade “E” or “D” are allowed to avail four chances within three
years till the achievement of overall grade “C” (50% marks).
6. Other rules of improvement currently in vogue in all Boards of the Punjab will remain the
same.
7. The result intimation cards to the candidates are being issued. The Private candidates will
receive their result intimation cards directly under ordinary post. However, the result
intimation cards of Regular candidates will be sent along with the computerized result
statement through the Registered Parcel. In case of non-receipt of Result Card up to 12-
09-2022, the candidate may contact the Board's office or Assistant Controller
Examinations (Matric) on Phone No. 040‐9200521.

8. The result of the candidates whether successful or otherwise is published for the
convenience of all concerned. The result of such candidates who have not yet got adjusted
their fee accounts are not published and their result intimation cards will be issued after the
adjustment of their dues. The result of the candidates whose eligibility cases are yet to be
settled and have not furnished the required information’s / documents have not been
published. Their result will only be declared on fulfilment of the requisite formalities.
9. For the candidates shown “Absent” or “compartment in any subject”, there is no bar on
their appearing in any subsequent examination if otherwise eligible. No such candidates
would be permitted to appear again in 9th examination only except marks improvement
cases.
10. The Candidate has been examined in Part-I as per condensed syllabus/Accelerated
learning program under Covid-19 Examination Policy 2021 while in part-II as per
prescribed syllabus.

i) All enquiries regarding the result of candidates appearing from recognized
Institutions should be addressed to the Heads of the Institutions concerned and
not directly to the Controller of Examinations and in case of private candidates
they would contact the Assistant Controller Examination (Matric) on Phone No.

ii) ii) The result gazette CD can be had from the Branches of Habib Bank Limited
(Tehsil/District Headquarters) on payment of Rs. 100/- per copy to the Board's account.

NATIONAL TALENT SCHOLARSHIPS

On the basis of Result of the Secondary School Certificate (Annual) Examinations, 2022, one National Talent Scholarship shall be awarded for every one
thousand candidates who pass the examination. 500 or more candidates being counted as a thousand and less than 500 ignored for the purpose of
determination of the number of Scholarship. All the candidates will be taken together as one group, provided that the girls candidates will get at least the
number of Scholarships proportionate to the number of girls passing the examination according to the above formula. Thus, on the basis of this result
48 (22 Boys, 2 6 Girls) talent scholarships would be awarded to the candidates securing the highest. The value of each Scholarship is Rs. 2500/- P.M.
in case of resident Scholar and Rs. 1500/-P.M. in case of non-resident Scholar. Besides they would be paid Rs. 3000/- for purchase of books and other
educational equipment’s etc. as permissible under rules.
