II-Instructions for Assessment

1. Continuous Assessment (50%)

-Attendance grade accounts for 15% (3/10). Students are assessed by the
number of absence/ presence class periods and by random quizzes

-Group assignment accounts for 20% (4/10). Students are assessed by their
participation in learning activities including class and home assignments and
group presentation. Details of group presentation are presented in the follow-
up section.

-Mid-term test accounts for 15% (3/10). Students are assessed by an


open-book test in class. The test is scheduled in Week 10. m, c m sách, tài liu

2. Instruction for group presentation


-Starting from Week 5 to Week 9, members in group will prepare weekly
presentation entitled “Exploring Culture Session.” Assigned topics for the
presentation are as follows: 4-5 people
