BEFORE TO START, SOME TIPS AND TECHNIQUES

FRONT LOOPS AND BACK LOOPS

RIGHT SIDE AND BACK SIDE

Right side Back side

How to make invisible decrease with the Right side facing outwards...

Insert Hook into FRONT loops only of the next 2 sts. / Yarn over, pull throught 2 loops on the hook. / Yarn over, pull throught
final 2 loops on the hook.

How to make the Bobble stitch...

-Work a dc into the next st without pulling the last loop through. - Work 3 more dc into the same st without pulling the last loop
through. You have 4 loops on your hook. Yarn over and...pull the yarn through all the 4 loops to close the bobble stitch.

3
How to change color ...

Leave the last crochet stitch unfinished (2 loops

on the hook with the color A.)
Grab the new color (B) of yarn with your
crochet hook.

Pull up a loop with the new color (B) and finish the
stitch with it.
When you crochet in continuous spiral:
If you need to change color before to start a
new round, change the color on the last stitch of
the previous round.

Continue by crocheting with the new color (B).

If you need to use color A again within the next

few rows, don't cut the yarn; leave it attached so
that you can carry it up the sides and avoid
having to weave in ends.

This is the same way with any stitch: single

crochet, half double crochet, double crochet ...
Just grab the new color when you have 2 loops
on the crochet hook.

You can see on this picture the inside of the hat

with the yarn carry up to each rounds.

SHAPE THE FACE

*Before insert eyes

(Rnd 50), shape the
face with a needle
and cotton thread
(same color).
* Insert the needle
and the thread and
come out 13 sts away
from the initial entry.
Insert again the
needle and come out
near the original
entry. Repeat 2x .

* Pull the thread a little to make tightenings

* Come out the ends of thread a few stitches over the
original entry.
Tie a small knot and bury the thread in the head.

9
EYES AND MOUTH

*I insert the eyes at the rnd 50 without definitely

attach them. They are approx. 12 stitchs between the
2 eyes.

*It's more easy to embroider the mouth if you draw a

line with pastel and a thin brush as you can see on
the detailed pictures below.

10
With a single strand of thread, you can embroider some
sewings and add shadding with eye shadow and a small
brush .

Different eyes/ Different looks:

11
Sew the arms...
...to the body at the rnd 37.
*Insert the needle and the remaining thread tail in the arm and go in through it and through the neck. Come out to the other
side and repeat...
* Come out both thread (of 2 arms) a few stitches away (of the back of the body) . Tie a knot and bury the thread in the body.

THE COLLAR

* Ch 13 and work along the chain:

1sc in the second chain from the hook, 3sc in the next 3
ch, 4hdc in the next 4 ch, 4 dc in the next 4 ch. *

Repeat * to * x 6.
