Vision

 To produce globally competent chemical engineers to meet new challenges faced by

chemical and related industries through green technology.

Mission

 To impart strong fundamental knowledge to the students to face the new world in a
rapidly changing technological environment.
 To carry out interdisciplinary research so as to address the needs of chemical engineering
in particular and the society at large.
 To develop leadership qualities among the students to solve chemical engineering
problems keeping in mind the safety and environmental concerns.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

The Graduates of Chemical Engineering will:

PEO 1: Apply knowledge to formulate, analyze, design and solve engineering problems and
pursue higher learning, research and industrial practice

PEO 2: Develop innovative and sustainable solutions in chemical engineering industry system
for required engineering applications

PEO 3: Have opportunities to work as teams in multidisciplinary environment, communicate

ideas effectively with diverse audiences, entrepreneur with ethical values and engage in long-
term learning

PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOS)

PSO 1: Apply the chemical engineering principles to design chemical processes through
process modeling and simulation

PSO 2: Apply the concepts of chemical engineering discipline to solve real time engineering
problems in oil and gas, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and chemicals process industries
