Informative Speech Checklist (Synchronous)

 Are you speaking between 5-7 minutes in length

consistently?

 Do you have at least 4 different sources cited out loud during

your speech?

 Is the majority of my research from the library (not web

based)?

 Are you citing research about once per minute of speak time?

 Does your speech have three main points?

 Are you moving on your transition statements? (Transitions

Lesson)

 Do you have your full sentence outline complete with

references (run through NoodleTools) in APA style format?

 Do you have at least one visual Aid using screenshare?

 Do you have professional attire picked out?

 Have you practiced in a full dress rehearsal over Zoom using

either 3 note cards (maximum) or the outline (can’t hold it)?

 Are you prepared on your day?
