My name is Thokozani Valleta, and I am a 21-year-old female student in my fourth and final
year at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. I am currently pursuing a
Bachelor of Science degree in Gender and Development. I am writing to express my interest in
applying for an attachment or internship opportunity at the Foundation for Civic Education and
Social Empowerment Organization in Chikwawa.

As a native of Bereu Village in Chikwawa, I am deeply committed to the development and

empowerment of my community. My educational background in gender and development has
equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to the organization’s mission.
I am passionate about promoting civic education and empowering individuals, especially women
and girls, to take an active role in shaping their communities.

As an attachment or intern, I would be eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to support

the organization’s various projects and initiatives. I am particularly interested in working on
projects related to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and civic engagement. I believe my
academic background and personal experiences make me well-suited for this opportunity.
