INSTRUCTIONS
• Don't use thermocol for making a model.
• Use cardboard for model making and handmade sheet for Wall magazine.
• Handwriting must be neat and clean.

For Roll no 1 to 10 Prepare a Model on Poetic Device Wheel. ( Minimum 7

Poetic devices will examples)
For Roll no 11 to 20 Prepare a Working/ Non-working model on Tenses.
For Roll no 21 to 30 Prepare a Wall magazine on Subject Verb Agreement.
For Roll no 31 to 40 Prepare an Appreciation Memento for True Friend.

(B)REVISION WORK
Learn and do written practise of article on Sports and, Good deeds reflect Good
character in rough Notebook.

Activity 1- Paste 4 different types of metals and non-metals in a scrap file and also prepare
a table with the following information-
• Name of material
• Physical properties
• Chemical properties
• Uses

Activity 2- Make a list of food items which can be preserved by drying in the sun.

SOCIAL SCIENCE (VIII)

1. Collage Making-
➢ Collect pictures of various products advertised in newspapers and magazines.
Classify them according to the industry to which they belong to.

➢ Prepare a PPT of teachings of Swami Dayanand.

➢ As a vigilant citizen of India how can you create awareness among the people to
protect old buildings and Monuments? (PPT)
2. Notebook task
• Find out the names of films on India’s freedom struggle and freedom fighters and
write brief summary of the two films. (in Notebook)
• What would happen if there were no rules and regulations in the school? Make a list
of duties to be followed by the students of your class. (in Notebook)
• Read the newspaper daily to learn about some challenges that our country still
faces. (in Notebook)
3. Learning work
Revise chapter 2 and 10 thoroughly. Internal questions will be asked from these chapters
in the class after vacations.
