Writing : Sample sentences

These are some sentences that you can use in your writing. Use it wisely.

Introduction :

Salutation

- Hi, how are you? I hope you’re fine.


- Hello Amisha. It’s been a while since I write an e-mail to you.

Reason

Main points/ideas :

You can use “is/are”, “was/were” – to tell about something

Eg : The scenery is very pleasing.

It was a fun trip.

There were lots of activities.

You can use “has/have/had” – to tell what you/they/it posses or experience

Eg : The shop has 20% discounts.

You can use “can” – to tell what you/it can do

Eg : These books can help you to study easier.

You can use “will” – to tell about your plan

You can use “need” – to give advice or instruction

Eg : We need to bring our raincoats.

You need to lock the door.


He needs to complete his homework.
