Ref: Letter of Re-Appointment

We are pleased to reconfirm your position with Winter Snow Sdn. Bhd. with the
following terms & conditions:

Monthly Basic Salary

 RM 2500.00 basic monthly
 EPF, SOCSO & EIS
 Commission Band A
 Full room & board
 Annual salary review

Termination:
A six (6) months’ notice of termination of services will be required from either party. It is
to be clearly understood and agreed that as long as either party gives the agreed
notice of termination the reason for termination is irrelevant. It is further agreed that
there can be no recourse to the Ministry of Human Resources (Kementerian Sumber
Manusia) as long as all wages, commissions & bonuses are paid in full, as per the
terms of this contract. Accrued leave may not be used to shorten the agreed notice
period without approval from the management. Failure to give full notice in writing will
result in the deduction of one month’s basic salary, bonuses & commissions will still be
paid in full.

Days OFF & Annual Leave
 Four days per month
 12 days per annum plus 12 days for Public Holidays owing.
Note: the majority of AL should be taken during resort closure when possible,
otherwise please give us much notice of required leave as possible.
 An MC should be provided for any sick days taken
 Emergency leave MUST be applied for from your Manager BY TELEPHONE.
Staff may not send a text or WhatsApp message informing the company you will
not be at work and assume we have seen it.
 Compassionate leave is for:
spouse, children, grandparents, parents & siblings, only

Hours

 45 hours per week + 20 hours over time

Job Description
 Preparation of food
 Cook for guests & staff according to menus provided
 Responsible for presentation of food for guests
 Responsible for restaurant buffet, set up & during service
 Oversee other kitchen staff
 Assist in training new kitchen staff
 Responsible for kitchen stock takes, deliveries & extra orders
 Washing pots, pans, cooking utensils & knives
 General hygiene & maintenance of kitchen & kitchen fittings, incl. freezers,
fridges, store room, etc.
 Follow directions from and report to the Head Chef or Acquisitions Manager via
WhatsApp.

Conditions
 No alcohol until after 9pm at night when working
 Staff not returning to work on the correct day after their monthly days off will lose
double pay per day, i.e. 2 days for 1 day late, 4 days for 2 days late, etc. unless
a medical certificate is provided.
 Personal mobile phones and tablets may not be used during working hours
unless for a specific work-related reason.
 Random drugs tests may be administered at the management’s discretion
