English BEFORE YOU START FOLIAGE STITCH

Construcon
The Mangrove Tee is worked in circular kning from boom to top. You will start by working the boom of the body
and sleeves separately unl you reach the underarms, and then you’ll join the pieces to work the top of the body in
circular kning with raglan shaping. The last rows are worked flat, going back and forth on the wrong side and right
side of the work, and casng off stches to shape the neckline. Lastly, you will pick up stches along the neckline to
work the collar in 1x1 rib stch with the 4 mm needles.
Paern content
- In this paern, you will find detailed wrien instrucons as well as charts. Most steps are detailed in wring,
however some parts are only on the charts. At the end of the paern, you will find wrien tutorials and links to
video tutorials for parcular techniques.
- To lighten the text and avoid repeons, I have separated the instrucons for the Foliage stch. When “paern 1
(2, 3, 4...)“ is indicated, knit the corresponding paern from page 2.
- To follow the different steps of this paern, I’ve also included a checklist for each size: don’t hesitate to print it and
cross the boxes as you go to keep track of your progress.

How to read the charts CAST OFF STITCH

The charts represent the stches as they appear on the right side of the kning. For the parts worked in circular
kning, work the stches exactly as they appear on the diagrams. For the parts worked in flat kning, work the
even rows as they appear on the charts, and work the odd rows purlwise (purl stches and purl decreases).
