2- EX330 Excavator (AE Works Const.)
3- 4 Triaxle and Tandem Gravel trucks (3 with pup wagons)
4- EX320 & EX330 Cat Excavator with Hoe-Pac

9- 1-SoilTec staff on-site running densities on pit run placements.
Report:
• Site safety meeting (Dave Wilkins & contractor staff). Emergency First Aid plan posted at Muster Station.
• Compaction testing to be ran and tested tomorrow during pit run hoe-pac and/or 1,000lb plate tamper work.
• SoilTec ran testing on pit run placement at larger fill area along east bank (work to reach >95% determined
and hoe-pac is much more time effective with current soils moisture and any frost).
• Design details reviewed for bank sharp corner at upper channel and new cut and riprap being incorporated in
design today and tomorrow (survey crew to attend site with updates on best hydrology flow fit for upper
channel).
Items to Note:
• Pit Run and Armor Rock delivered and stockpiled for channel work on dike banks.
• Channel work started and bank trilling with excavator (EX300 Hitachi).
• EX200 Cat excavator with hoe-pac compact test section of pit run
• Design Drawings detailed for upper channel reviewed, and work plan revised to accommodate best flow
condition, updated cross-sections by RRA and additional drawings to be provided (IFC).

Figure 2: Channel riprap commenced with excavators (RRA review compaction of pit run work for hoe-pac and/or
plate tamper). Density testing ran by SoilTec.
