Neck Hem_
The neck hem is worked in the round on needle size 2.5

Along the sides, pick up 3 out of 4 stitches. At center front
and back (along the cast-on stitches), pick up 4 out of 5
stitches by skipping the center stitch of the 3 knit stitches
of the rib pattern. Start picking up stitches at the left side
of the back of the neck.
Fold the rib hem down on the inside and knit it down
at the same time as binding off. Make sure that the rib
hem is not twisted, and to bind off fairly loosely to avoid
making the rib hem too tight.
Armhole_
On needle size 2.5 mm / US 1.5, work an I-cord hem along
the armhole edge.
